home made tour pak

this is what i came up with from an idea from a buddy he had a similar set up i just could not find a tour pak large enough to bring everthing along so i purchased the tour pak braket and screwed on a peice of plywood

I think the luggage rack weight capacity is 25 lbs.  Probably some room for fudge-factor beyond that rating, but I'm pretty sure you've used all of that and then some!!

You need to get a 2nd bike to help carry that load. Overloaded is an understatement.

Yeah, but I see guys all the time who put their 300-pound ole lady on the P-pad. I know what you're thinking—the center of gravity is lower on the P-pad. I don't buy it, that should be illegal.

How did it ride? Still track straight? Thats the main thing I look at......more than the weight.

How many women did you have with you to need to take that much stuff. Got to give you a little credit for having the balls to ride it like that! I'm with others you need a trailer or station wagon.
