Just stating that I'm happy w/the Zippers parts I purchased... I'm thinking your 575 cams will be a little different from mine since mine were designed specifically for the 103ci CVO motor but other then that probably same end result.

As for spending other peoples money I learned it from this site so why not push pay it forward. :D :D

They still here.... but that's what happens when people send you stuff after you tell them you don't want them... they are low on the priority list to get installed. :nixweiss:

Well many talk heat and actually any of the late models make more heat by virtue of leaner mixtures. At times, light throttle cruise, these leaner mixtures are desirable but tweaked a hair back to about 14.2:1 AFR, and that helps with economy. A custom tuning solution such as TTS and a tune by a qualified tuner will bring all of that in and heat levels will drop but when done right it won't drink fuel.
The stock cam is desirable for many as it helps produce more off-idle throttle response and good low speed manors where we ride most of the time under 3,500.
So let's dissect "heat"
Some of that is actually engine and some is radiant heat off the pipes. Some designs of pipes take the heat away from the rider and passenger and some don't. Thermal coating the pipes will help a lot in curbing the problem. That with a tune and you will have a very different ride I assure you.

I'll say this, get your hand held thermometer, you know, the you point at an object and it reads the temp. Do it in several places on the engine and pipes Before you sink all this money into your machine. Then do it after.

Ain't gonna be much "Felt" difference.

We like to spend money here on the CVO forum, it's the no chit best thing we do.

You will end up with a better engine, but I will submit that you won't do much for the heat issue.
