I'll say this, get your hand held thermometer, you know, the you point at an object and it reads the temp. Do it in several places on the engine and pipes Before you sink all this money into your machine. Then do it after.

Ain't gonna be much "Felt" difference.

We like to spend money here on the CVO forum, it's the no chit best thing we do.

You will end up with a better engine, but I will submit that you won't do much for the heat issue.

Yes I will have to agree, the heat issues may only go down a bit and performance increased a bit.

The issue with spending  I agree 100%, it's what we do.

Well, let's think about it....if we had some  :nervous: blackberries  :nervous: and installed the hinges up side down...would the lid still open??????  :huepfenlol2:  :huepfenlol2:  :huepfenlol2:  :huepfenlol2:  :huepfenlol2:

napalm
I guess it would depend on where they were installed... with this crowd and "blackberries" they could end up on the latch side. :nervous: :nervous:

And I feel better now that I have dumped some money into the motor, always feel better after spending money :coolblue:

These make a big difference when your stuck in traffic. Shriners use them on their parade bike. My buddies 08 was like a nuclear reactor when we got struck traffic. Between the tts system tuning some heat out and installing this for in traffic he is good now.

Good to hear Dick. What differences are you noticing? Low end? Butt dyno?

The biggest difference to me is the way the bike "gets up" feels much stronger then before. Seemed like the bike used to struggle a bit, now she ain't struggling as much (if at all), I have NEVER done motor work before so all this is new to me.

If I roll quick on the throttle I get a "ping" then it's gone, I am assuming the auto-tune is catching it. The guy that did the work wanted the bike back for a cold start to see the temps rise to 285f he didn't think the choke was working properly (it was).
Everything works fine. The intitial "base map" was #55, the he downloaded my first run as the base map for my riding style. I guess the auto-tune is suppose to store your riding style in memory??

Pretty happy so far  :2vrolijk_21:
