Same bike, different tuner.  Google sound bites for any pipe and you will find them on you tube.  I run the new Rinehart true dual system on my bike, currently running political picture, but i have chrome headpipes black mufflers, and chrome tips on my Crimson Mist.  Love the sound, love the pipe.  Seems like this blog prefers Vance & Hines so you should be able to get good feedback there.  Fat Cat' as i understand is the best performance pipe but i think they sound a little tinny so i stayed away from those.  good luck, lotsa choices but you can spend a lot of money trying to find the sound you want, and at the end of the day, that's key!

I have the same bike- #733.  I changed out the stock air cleaner to the high flow harley air cleaner shown on the cvo covertible- it comes in black or chrome- I opted for the chrome but used the old black eagle inset plate from the stock one. switched out the slip ons to v&h high out puts-which sound ok, now I'm ordering the v&h power duals and getting rid of the Cat. and I'm able to still use the hi out put slip ons again.the heat was getting bad and I want some more power and sound. what # do you have and how do you like it-color and performance ??

I have 767 like the plane.  Love the bike, I really do.  Like the color scheme because it is understated.  All the opinions suggested here are good and I am really confused which way to go.  I want it to sound deep and rumble along when I ride.  My dyna WG has SE torque slip-ons and no cat.  I'm happy with that bike after TTS tuning and a SE airbox.  I like my ultra-blk airbox cover.  Can I use a street guide airbox and my ultra cover?  The fullsac guy says the ultra airbox doesn't breath well and I believe him.

Thanks,
Richard

not sure about the airbox question. I',m not to impressed with the power,I thought the 110 would be throwing me off the seat but , it doe not. this is why I'm doing the power duals and I already think its breathing good with the air cleaner.
The other thing was the all black concept--I had to get used to it because,I'm a big chrome guy. I've had a black 2004 heritage, and other harleys thru the years that I chromed out and gave harley enough $$ to start a schlorship program.Any how I've haven't heard of many guys on this group that have the flhcuse5 black have you ?

I am sure I have thrown this out there before but here it is again.....

I have the same bike and it's going to get pipes and a PCV this winter, but I threw the Rinehart 4" slip-ons on it and LOVE the way they sound. They have a deep rumble but aren't obnoxious unless you really get on it.

I have been thinking about putting it in the garage and getting a real good sound clip on it...it does sound pretty beasty when you roll on it hard. The clips on YouTube were helpful too me as a jumping off point....people like being able to HEAR......

When I was poking around on YouTube earlier this summer, I came across this video of the Rineharts. Try not to pay too much attention to this guys shoes  but listen when it runs it up a few RPMS before getting on it. Then he leans on it pretty hard, and those pipes (and that bike) sound pretty sweet.....

I have the same bike.  I called Rinehart directly and ordered the pipes kind of custom.  I got black headers with chrome heat shields, this way if i ever get bored, i to go with black heat shields.  With black mufflers and chrome tips.  I really like the look of the Rineharts, plus i personally think it's one of the best overall performance and sounding pipe on the market.  Now, I kind of wish i would have gone with the black heat shields off the bat instead and added more chrome to the engine.  I decided not to because all those chrome covers trap heat.  I can't upload pictures, but aside from this, i ordered Arlen Ness (scalloped) timing, derby, black horn chrome scallop insert, and the bike looks great!  I also went with Thundermax for my ECM, second round with them and i have not been disappointed.  Good luck

I just installed V & H Dresser Duals and V & H Hi-Output Slip Ons on my 2011 CVO Street Glide. Have not added a tuner yet so I've only started it in my garage. Deep and Throaty at idle and like a race car when rev'd. If you like a louder option this is it. Me.....I like it louder.

Definitely needs a tuner. I am ordering a PowerCommander from Jamie at FuelMoto on Monday. Can't beat his price/service and they will install a Canned Map to get me started.

Just finished installing a rinehart true dual exhaust.  What a PITA but it is on.  Went to put on my ventilator AC but you must remove the gas tank and I didn't want to start that job just yet :(....I did load my TTS tuner using EAJU001 and will run this way until I am ready to do the AC.  God the rinehart instructions suck big time.  They kept referring to pictures that were not included.

You can get the 2 allen screws out of the top of the throttle body with an "L" shaped allen wrench-you do not have to remove the tank.

Bob

I actually used a cut off "L" shaped allen wrench.
Slow work but got done.
For me, just a part of the bonding process.
