They would do that if they recieved pressure from the EPA who is really trying to stop people from riding motorcycles altogether. The EPA does not give a crap about the fact that there is already a product on the market that needs support. They don't give a chit about that anymore than they give a crap about all the smaller custom bike builders they are putting out of business. In effect HD could be forced to comply with the anti tampering crap and just invalidate any warranty on any bike witho0ut OEM intake and exhaust which meet clean air restrictions. It may hurt the Mocco a bit but I doubt it will affect the bottom line long term, people will just adjust because there will be no other option. Plus its a nice trade off since alot of the smaller competition is going to go right under.Most smaller builders cannot afford to get the certifications necc to build factory production bikes that are not considered to be customs which apparently we can only own one of in our lifetime from this point. So if you want a full on custom choose it carefully it will be the last one you ever own plus you are going to have to keep it for 5 years anyhowe since you can't sell it til then.
