I am in the process of looking at the 2011 Road Glide Ultra.I currently have a 2010 CVO Ultra Classic. Question is has anyone made this particular move and were you happy with the new RG Ultra compared to the 2010. Any information will be a help.

I guess the looks impress me more on the Ultra and being that I have had 2 of them I am just partial to the Ultra. I am not a fan of the fixed fairing but there are lots of people that love that fixed fairing and to each his own.

I didn't go from a 2010 SEUC to my 2011 RUSE, but from a 2007 CUSE.  I don't regret getting the RUSE at all.   The RUSE is a very smooth riding bike.  I do have a 2010 SESG, and even though the SESG is more for sportier riding, there is a definite difference between the two.  Not bad, just different.  The RUSE handles lighter and better at lower speeds, but gives me a little more wind buffeting than the SESG does. But the SESG steers heavier than the RUSE.  I love both my bikes, so I kind of have the best of both worlds by having a RG and an SG.

I've ridden an electra glide of some sort for the last decade or so.  When I decided to buy a CVO I looked st both models.  I tried to keep an open mind sbout the road glide.  I even test rode one before deciding.  In the end it was close, but there was nothing sbout the road glide that changed my mind so I went with the tried and true ultra.  Besides, I like the flames.

          OK, here goes, let me stir up some controversy. First this is 'my' opinion ( NOT FACTS) 'my' opinion. My first CVO was a 2001 SE Road Glide and I loved it! 2006 came along and I had to have SE Electra Glide Ultra, so I sold my Road Glide, and bought the Ultra. It was/is a very nice bike, but I missed the fixed fairing. Next an 07, and 08 SE Ultra; then 09s came out and the Road Glide I yearned for was back so... I bought one.
          Finally figured I was good for a while, until they unveiled the 11s, so now I have a 2011 SE Road Glide. Thru out the ownership of all of these bikes, (some with more problems than others), I ALWAYS feel better on the Road Glide, ALWAYS!
          The problem with your question is a lot of what we feel on a bike is subjective, so, if you have a chance, rent, borrow, or steal one, and ride both, in the end you may find yourself starting a thread, one day, that starts "Batwings are better". Or if you are clear thinking, like me, you'll feel better on a fixed fairing bike.
          Last thoughts, I am a motor officer, and motor officer instructor, who rides a Road King, ( a really great bike to "flick around" in tight spaces), The Road Glide gives much better wind protection, than my police bike, without the heavy feeling front end of the Batwing. Again, this is mostly my opinion.

Thank you all for the input. It looks as of right now that the $$$ to swap from the 10 SEUC to the 11 Ultra RoadGlide is not a good investment. But weirder things have happened. So looking to add extras to the SEUC10 at this time. I do love the backend of the 09 SERG???

Can't help you with SERG, but I currently ride a 2010 SEUC and I love it.  My last bike was a 07 RG pictured.  I loved that bike, and i actually considered buying a SEUC in 08 and i  decided against it after riding it.  I liked the sharknose fairing and the stability it offered at highway speeds.  That being said, with the new frame my 2010 is the cats meow and i don't think the RG has that advantage anymore.  Now it comes down to looks and style....not necessarily any substantial difference in the ride or stability.
