Well, I finally got to see the bike in the sun.  We moved the bike around, tried to get different angles, and I just didn't see the purple coming through on this one.  It all looked like blue metal flake in the black (or dark) paint.  At a distance the Twilight Blue looks black and the bike would look great if it was just Black and Candy Cobalt, but when you walk around the bike in the sun, it appears like thousands of little blue fire flies lighting up in that black paint.  Forget the twelve step program and any vows that I've made to stop trading bikes because I've decided that I must have this one.  Some of you wanted more photos, so here are the ones that I took today.  I don't think that the photos do the bike justice, but here they are.

I've told the dealer that I'd take it.  I'm planning to add V&H X-Pipe and RC Components 4" Slip-ons, SERT, and dyno tuning.  A buddy of mine has this set up on his CVO RG and it sounds and performs great.

I have a new blue one & it looks great in real life. Got it last friday in OKC & love it. The dark blue is metallic & really sparkles in the sun. Just have not figured out how to post pics on here yet.

It looks pretty good in the photos, but I agree with you on the "real life" making it great!  Good luck with the photos.  You'll probably need to edit resizing the photos to something like 640 x 480 pixels.  After you've edited the photo, prpare your reply and before you post, just click on that "Browse" button at the bottom and find the photo on your computer.

Thanks, I will try that with the photos. The paint on mine looks fine from all angles also. If it is different i can't tell.
