I have the 555 in my Hillside 107" at 10.6 and 200 ccp and it works very well.

My set up before this was the stock 96" with Woods 6-6 and the air cleaner/exhaust we all do. It ran well, but just a little soft way down low and would get 36-40 mpg.

The 107 build with the 555 smokes it all around. 120tq/110 hp. The bottom is strong from idle on up and the tq is above 100 from 2500 to 5700rpm. And is always over 40 mpg with a high of 44 so far.

I was wondering about the comp. ratio at first also. But it has not been an issue at all. Now I live in WI where we have gas and air. But 90+ temps did not phase it.

That cam is nothing more(or less) than a hopped-up 6 grind, which we have used here for almost 15 years now, to include back in the Evo days.
BTW in an 80" Evo, that cam will show low-mid 80's hp and low 90's torque, @ 10:1 cr, and get 45-50 mpg doing so. :)

Ok, so with screaming eagle clutch, stock 96, thunderheader, 90 degree intake, race tuner the 2010 FLHTR is runnning with 96 hp and 114 tg.... seems worth it to me. I will post all of my dyno runs when complete doing the them in stages.. exhaust was first 92 hp and 112 tg.. jackpot X pipe and V&H high out puts no tuner or download yet. I will also try to get the dyno sheet for the flhtr also....  :pepper:

Does anyone have a guess of the gas milage drop with the TW-555?  Five dollar a gallon prices might be here this summer.
Gas milage drop, what the hell.  You only live once.  Just hope it won't be $10 a gallon...  Forget gas milage and ride.

I am told they suck gas at highway speeds.

As a drop in cam I am extremely disappointed in the 555. Low end power is not there and I had to chase pinging issues in all five builds I have tuned. I am a BIG fan of Woods cams however I think this one needs some more thinking. Like I said as a DROP IN cam I'm not impressed, I haven't used this cam in a build with head work and higher compressions as of yet.....but.....I'll stay with the proven TW 6-6 in the mean time.
This is my opinion only......nothing against my hero Bobby Wood.

Doesn't Tommy have the 555 in his new bike?

 :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Got a chance to put some miles on my 2011 on the Daytona trip and overall I'm satisfied with the Stage I & II kits.  Same parts list as Steve posted.
My numbers are lower than Steve's (100.88 hp, 107.08 torque), but the sheets are from different dynos and while talking to the tech at Augusta HD he told me that they've had the dyno about four years and it's never been re calibrated.
Seat of the pants the bike feels great!  Pulls strong from just below 3k up to the rev limiter.
One issue I do have is gas milage.  Running the interstate at 80-85 I got 30-33 mpg.  When we got on A1A above Jacksonville running 45-60 mileage went up to 44 mpg.
So, am I going to put the stock cams back in to bring the mileage up?  He** no!

Yep.  I'm extremely happy with it.

As for it not being a good "drop in" cam I'm not sure if mine would be considered a drop in since they put the .030 head gaskets in.

Here's my dyno sheet with just a canned MAP.  Looking for a tuner in the southeast whose familiar with the TTS.

FWIW....

Stock cams in 2011 Electraglide Ultra CVO......

Just did a 1500 mile trip and a bunch of interstate running.... movin' along at 80-90 mph....... with the flow of traffic, of course .... and my mileage was 33.4!

So, dropping in the 555 ..... ehhhhh .....  just waiting for some input from Fullsac for this move.

The laws of physics will not be denied. The faster you ride, the more power it takes, the more fuel you will burn.
The last 103 with Woods 555 cams left my shop at 101 HP. The owner reported 43 MPG on his way home riding 70 mph.
When I slow down and ride 70 I get around 40-45 MPG. Most of the time I ride 80-85 with my three partners in crime.
We all get around 30-35 MPG. Getting good milage is easy. Its as simple as slowing down.
If you like riding 85 MPH, gas is cheap compared to the ticket.

springer09, I have the fulsac stage one kit with stock noncat pipe, open air cleaner, 1.75 baffles. I usually ride local rides on my 95 Heritage when by myself, but when going on a trip naturally I take my 09 SEUC with my wife and we all know that means more luggage then you will ever need. Two times now we have mailed things home that we( when I say that I mean she) didn't need to reduce some bulk. I got a little side tracked there sorry. However when I read the dyno sheets and the slight difference between stage one Fulsac and Stage two (adding Andrews 54 cams and remap) and after what you have said about not making power until around 3k I will stick with my 255s. Plenty of low end grunt. I can go as fast as I want and still get decent mileage even when loaded down and absolutely no pinging in the heat.(THANK YOU STEVE) Again sorry If I got off topic, but for those who want all that extra power and still expect a dependable easy starting bike leave it close to stock as possible. Then you won't ruin the bottom end and you can be relaxed about your machine when you are 2000 miles from home. I have done all kinds of mods with evo engines and my motto is" you can't have your cake and eat it too". I respect you guys who want to do second gear wheelies etc, but that is not what a dresser is made for. I don't want to offend anyone that is just my humble opinion based on lots of experience. Again sorry for getting off  topic. Now if I could get the top end stop rattling between 2200-2800 that would be nice.

heres my 2 cents did the stage two of fullsacs kit,and like i said before cams did not start making power until 3000 rpm, stock cams had more low end.
