I never cease to be amazed (and humbled) by the wealth out there. Just for example, David Sydorick is the guy to whom the Feds granted immunity so he could testify against Michael Milliken. His home is listed at over 10,000 square feet. He and his wife Ginny have a 20-car collection topped by a 1947 Ferrari Spyder Corsa. Its serial number is 002C, and that says it is one of the oldest Ferraris in existence. This particular event was not for charity but many of the car shows where some of these cars are diplayed are.
All of the owners on this day were most hospitable and most had refreshments for us. As you could see above, Bruce Massman even let us sit in (and start up) some of the cars.

It was a truly fun day. The cost was only $60 and that included a box lunch and the buses. Membership in the Checkered Flag 200 Club is now about $1,500, most of which is deductible.
