SRC is pricey at $400 or so. Fit and design is first-rate. I had the HD bluetooth adapter for my old helment. It worked, but the speaker quality was low. I'm invested in the SRC, with the various firmware upgrades and the like. It has been "plug and play": GPS instructions, XM radio, phone. I connect my phone through the GPS (Road Tech 665). It's still got some bugs. I lose the stereo bluetooth channel if I walk away from the bike. Comes back if I turn the 665 off and on. Other nuances forced to work through as I've learned the system. Recent firmware upgrade supposedly fixed many but I'm still experiencing some.
All that said, it's a first class design. I put 1500 miles on in four days and was pleased with it's performance, bugs aside. Integration with the helmet sold me on it.
