I've got no hate for ya.  I love(d) my bike(s)!

My only suggestion would be that you stop reading this thread now; I suspect it's gonna get longer and uglier! :)

How about a suspension that is not a joke.  2" of travel is getting hard to take as we get older.  Time for a new jingle, the trained reply of (they all do that) could be changed.

Increase Quality and stop cutting corners.  Give us high quality engine parts with tight tolerances and proper bearings. Chrome that is properly applied and lasts like it used too. Paint quality. It would save you money in the long run to increase quality and reduce repairs. I know alot of riders that stay away only because of HD's qulity issues.

Offer the '09 SERG guys, the '10 SESG guys, a viable fix for the seat gap issues.

I'm on my second seat for my '09 SERG that's still under warranty and I've had the seat bumper rails installed and still with the new seat replacement have the gap at the tank console.

I started the group with the push forward rear seat bracket and one of our guys in Hawaii took it from there to help even more guys, but that just pushes you forward in the seat and that's not so good either.

I'm sure HD's misstake on the seats starting on the '09 SERG, fueled a LOT of aftermarket business for C&C, Corbin, Mustang etc, just because of the crappy seats you put on $30k plus rides.

I love my '09 SERG, but a well fitting seat should not be too much to ask for.  Oh, the suspension things mentioned above, I'd buy into that as well.

Thanks for listening to us.

I'm available as a long term test rider on any of the touring bikes. Work cheap.   :orange:

That was I.... it addressed the bars being too short for me though, so it helped....

Yes.. fix the seat issue... I already modded mine and am about to again... going to use the '11 FLHX seat with the 09 SERG covering... will let you know how this goes....

The '11 FLHX is seemingly comfortable and cheap to boot. I will try it on the bike and ride for a couple weeks to see if I like it as is or it needs more work.... pics will be upcoming.

My thoughts are... Why do metric bikes have so much better quality, and POWER right from the factory.
Without starting at a low point like H-D and building the bike just to be rideable and enjoyable. I know of no-one that has left his bike stock, just because of lack of POWER.
Just to name a few.. Tire pressure/warning device, Better seat/s. More POWER. Better headlight,  ;D

VW, Audi and many more Auto MFGs offer free service included for a variation of times.... might be a good option.

The first service should be included in the price anyway!

Relocate Oil filter so there's no mess - this is crazy folks have put up with this so long.

Balanced motors, and a water-cooled touring model that still sounds decent, with more power, and efficiency. How about a 2000+ cc version of the VRod motor?

Time to start looking forward.

Its all been written before + we pay a premium price for your American products over here in Europe, the least you can do is use American raw materials and Labour to produce the legend we are all in love with.
