Its all been written before + we pay a premium price for your American products over here in Europe, the least you can do is use American raw materials and Labour to produce the legend we are all in love with.

We could start another thread about all the Asian stuff we find on our bikes. I'm sure the supply interrupt with Japan is going to stir things up a little. Doc

We're paying TOP dollar, how about an extra YEAR on the factory warranty!  What is the MOCO afraid of???  Love your product, ain't feeling the love from you!

I have to agree with needing a seat that doesn't make your ass go numb. The factory headlight on my 09SEUC really sucks, maybe they look cool when they are not on but they put out very little effective light. I think CVO bikes should go back to being built by a select group of workers and ALL bikes from a Sportster to a CVO SE Ultras should have better quality control BEFORE it goes into a crate and then the customer finds something wrong at his/her dealer. It is way past time for a "NEW OEM RADIO" headunit. The Harmon K's just don't cut it anymore, at least come out with something totally new for the CVO bikes and don't just add more speakers. I reserve the right to add more at a later date. Don't get me wrong like everyone else I love my CVO, I would just rather spend more money for gas to ride more instead of buying parts to replace the ones that should have been better to start with.

Here's my $.02.

110" CVO Engine is noisy, unrefined, has poor historical reliability and runs too hot. Fix it or replace it.

The paint and chrome quality is not what it used to be and is not acceptable

The factory warranty should be extended on the CVO bikes. 36-48 months with unlimited mileage is suggested

Extend goodwill programs and/or upgrade policies to customers who purchased products with inherent design deficiencies

Respectfully,

Frank

I agree with all the things mentioned before by the members of this community!!!
Is astonishing that a company is not aware what is going on with their loyal clients. :nervous: :nervous:

"@ MOCO
How long do you want to treat your customers like this. The price of the bikes is going up and the Quality and customer service is going down??

Did you learn something from your very own history?? Not long ago your company was close to be shut down due to ignorance and poor quality!!
I swear that it will be my last HD, if I only once get the impression that you want to treat me bad!
I wait currently on the delivery of my Krypto to celebrate my 25.th with Harley.( build date 23. march!!!!)
During these 25 years I have owned 9 HD, the best ones were the three first and from 2001 onwards quality went down every year!!

If my next bike is not flawless...........I AM GONE FOREVER AND WILL NEVER BE BACK ON A HD!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:(
I hope that my dealer is reading this too, because I expect this time swiss quality work......precise, accurate and perfect to the last detail......otherwise....see above!!

I totally agree the the post above by Aero8.  Actually my newest ride is my lovely FXSTSSE 07 which I still love, my wife and I currently have 7Harley`s in our garage, this spring I had almost forgotten all of the crap that I went through with the 07 and was about to pull the trigger on the almost last years model, a new 2011 Street Glide when a whole bunch of new purchasers were bitching about there new rides. So Sorry MOCO my money is staying in my Pocket for the time being:
My wife was also ready to pull the trigger and and trade in her 09 street glide and by a Krypto, she as well has decided to keep her money in her wallet, she is laughing he ass off over the lastest paint issues!

So that is two sales you guys have missed out on from this household!

While in Rapid City SD in '09 a few of our members met with Representatives from HD. Among the many things confirmed during that meeting was the fact that this site is regularly visited but not posted by these Reps.
uhmmmm... are they literate or just looking at the pictures?

Just askin' because it does not seem like MoCo has a grasp on the pulse of their customers, especially those that have spent a lot on their high-end models. I read about some exceptional dealers that take care of their customers even if the MoCo will not, but warranty coverage should be coming down from the top, not hiding behind dealers & regional reps.

500 miles engine on my bike started showing corrosion thru powder coat, they called it cosmetic, exposure to some form of contamination, not their fault, not covered by warranty. Same for some of the chrome bolt covers.

5,000 miles Dunlop D407's showed excessive wear, not down to wear bars but dealer "service" advised me to replace them on my dime, 2,000 miles later front tire showed cupping and rear tire almost down to wear bars and this time dealer "service" replaced front tire thru warranty after I showed field bulletins they never heard about but would not cover the rear.  I ended up replacing both later with Avon Cobra's at another motorcycle shop and the bike rides a lot better, we'll see how well the mileage will be.

I have concerns about the compensator and noticed rust spots under paint like other 09 SE springers. Not looking forward to the "customer service experience" again.

I can overlook the price we pay for the H-D brand, especiallly a CVO. I'm enjoying the H-D experience on one of the finest factory customs made, and can't picture myself having the same experience with another brand. What bothers me most is how the attitude by MoCo, their regional reps, & dealers about customer service, warranty, and product quality is ruining an otherwise great experience.

I spent a lot of time talking with the MoCo and dealer "service" about the powder-coat issue with no resolution, use the H-D surveys in the open comment sections to let them know how I feel about my experience & concerns which I know they only use for marketing research, and plan to write a letter but have read here no one else has got the MoCo to resolve their issues.

I doubt anything said here will result in a miracle at MoCo, but it feels good to vent every now & then. I've decided to move on and not let them ruin my experience, but I don't see how they'll convince the next generation even after putting out more entry level models and spending millions of dollars on advertising hype instead of improving quality & service.

A crankshaft without runout....

Improve customer service.... (both skills and attitude)

Apply the warranty fairly and consistently...

Make it easier to climb the food chain when necessary.

That'll do for now...   :)    ;)    :2vrolijk_21:

One other thing.... show DesertBear54 some respect...  Stop feeding him so much B.S. and allow him to enjoy his bike...
