There is the SE air kit from Harley, the Big Sucker from Arlen Ness and now the RK-3909 from K&N. Aside from the fitment issues, which is the best? And why?
I would also like to know how much difference there is in going with one of these kit versus installing a K&N replacement filter for the stock filter. I can see if you are after absolute maximum hp and torque that one of the kits may be the answer. But for those of us who just want a good sounding and good ruuning bike why not just repalce the stock filter with the K&N replacement and doing anyone of the various adjustments to the ECU (i.e. PowerCommander, Re-map, SERT, Fuelpak).
I would like pipes to make my SEUC sound like I want and tuned to run smooth through all the rpm ranges. Horsepower and torque are secondary. I know everyone has different wants and desires, but I'm just trying to figure out what is the best way for me to go.
I'm sure there are others like me with some of the same questions trying to decide what is right for them. Appriciate any input you all may have.
