Only go 20 mpg at 100, near runned out of gas on the Alligator Alley busting from WPB to Naples..100/100 club, a Florida thing.

Wouldn't go too much faster anyways...power to weight ration n all or some b/s thing.... :drink: :D

I never drink more than 1 or 2 beers.

Me neither...before noon.

I've seen 110-120 on my '06 SEUC, and 100 on the SERGU, but only for a few seconds, not for miles on end.  That's what Ducati's are made for...and the reason I sold mine.  Too tempting.

Oh...I forgot about the Vrod... ;)

I never drink more than 1 or 2 beers.

I don't drink before the school bus runs. Used to be the afternoon bus, now the morning bus.

Well Mano I was out on highway 370 the other night and my 2011 SESG hit 122mph both on the speedo and GPS. Kid went by me at the same time in a wheelie on his R6. Seemed solid enough but I can't see it doing much more if any at all. I have a Fulsac header, TTS tuner, and V&H High outputs. Good luck on your speed run.

Mark

I plan on getting the Stage 1 from Fullsac and installing it over the winter....we will see what happens. :2vrolijk_21:

Hey, I resemble that remark. After being 216.2 MPH in 6.514 in the 1/4 mile on a Nitro Harley, a buck 20 on a bagger under the right conditions just doesn't seem that bad. lol  just sayin

My 2011 CVO is the slowest bike i have owned (not including my 1966 Sachs). When I bought my SG I knew what i wanted and i knew what i was getting. Not that i want to go around speeding everywhere but there also comes a time when you need to pick up and go too. Every person who rides should know what your bike can or cannot do. An experienced rider knows when and what they are doing at all times and should ride to there limitations.

I am just getting to know my baby. ;D....ride on Mark. :2vrolijk_21:

Hey Mark, you mean to tell me that your speedo is accurate with your GPS?  Mine is out a couple of mph almost all the way up.  And that's allowing for the GPS 'lag'.
reasonably close as best as I can see the gauges at 120+, really paying attention to the road ahead. Took a glance down and saw the needle past 120

I hear ya.  Whenever I do run one up to those speeds, I can hardly look down long enough to focus on a gauge.....things are happening pretty quick and it's amazing how quickly something can appear on the road ahead that requires a decision, not counting the feedback you're monitoring from the bike:  Is it beginning a wobble or not?  har.  spyder

;)  Funny thing about that spyder, I never had qualms about riding at 120-130 (for short stretches) on any of my previous bikes, but once was enough on my eglide.  I can't speak for the current models, but the stability of the earlier generations leaves a lot to be desired.  Harley never designed the eglide to be a high speed vehicle, just look at the front end specifications which are strongly biased toward low speed parade duty riding for one example.  Add in the fork mounted fairing and rubber mounted swing arm, and it's easy to see why they get a little spooky.  I try to keep mine in the double digits these days, since the ol' skin doesn't grow back as well or as quickly at my age.
