Great choice (even in red!)  ;)

If it has been well serviced/reapired and looked after - you shouldn't have any probs. Would not change mine even for the ABS.

Relax, ride and enjoy  :2vrolijk_21:

Hope all is well TN.
The 2009 FLTRSE is an absolute pleasure to ride and own. I have 24400 miles on the original rear tire with plenty of rubber to go. I am averaging 46.6 miles per gallon two up. Needless to say riding miles are down quite a bit this year due to 3 surgeries. This year will be a high mileage year.

fltrcvo--too late, I already bought it...had it checked out at the dealer, and they say it's fine...weren't those issues cleared up by service tags/warranty issues?

So far (and it's only been a couple of days) it's amazing...

Good Luck with your acquisition.
Again, the Motor Company took care of me after an agonizing 2 years of problems.

With regard to the issues being cleared up, when the masses were suspect of the crank runout (which cost me two of the five motors) the Motor Company changed the tolerances, not for the better, then you can factor in the cranks not being true after install during production.

Seat height is 27.5 inches. For all the reasons mentioned above I would try to get an 08 model. In my personal opinion the 08's cosmetically were much nicer.
Maybe i'm biased
Actually I always thought the 07's were cosmetically much nicer, and I know I'm biased.  I've got almost 19,000 miles and has been great.  I did add the fairing which I really like.  I am heading out on it early Friday morning to try and complete an IronButt while raising money for Alzheimer's Disease.  Here is a link:
