I had a '08 SERK Annie and I spent almost $1k on a V&H Dresser Duals with their Oval mufflers as well as a PCIII. It ran well and sounded pretty good, or so I thought.
I traded that in for my '09 SERG and I thought I would go the "cheaper" route this time. I bought 2" core Fullsac baffles and from them I bought the TTS Mastertune with Fullsac's canned map that they had spent many dyno hours tweaking. I know, not all bikes are the same, but all bikes with the same motor, chassis and all other setups with the same 2" baffles, should be proven to run well with the canned map.
As I said, I thought I was happy before with an even lighter bike, but the new '09 SERG 110" performs smoother, gets about 10 mpg better and the sound of the exhaust with the stock 4" CVO mufflers and 2" Fullsac baffles, will run circles around the '08 SERK.
I thought cheaper, but forget the money... It's better regardless of price. Also the service was spot on and they do participate here and are a great addition to all the other great information available on this site.
I can see how some people might be over joyed by what Fullsac has done for them directly or through dealers like Jim (HD-Dude); I know I'm very pleased with their products and service and would recommend them without hesitation. Let's face it when it comes to our aftermarket items like exhaust, air cleaners and power tuners, they're all pretty good. But some are just better than others. Kind of like new cars, they're all pretty good, but some are better than others.
Fullsac gets my vote of approval. My vote and 50¢ will get you a soda from the local vending machine.
