WoW, what a lucky pooch! Bet Jade is far happier than seeing you out the driveway without her!!

What amazes me is shen I start up one of the bikes she runs to her trailer and circles it.

Roll it over to the bike to hook it up and she follows it

Open the door and she hops right in :2vrolijk_21:

Every trip so far has been to a place where they spoil her with treats........must be the treats :huepfenlol2:

Great job, Maybe Jade would like some added comfort by installing Dynamat acoustic treatment to help with the exhaust noise.

Well that is a very fancy dog trailer! What no AC/Heat, Can't believe there's no light inside...Jade may want to read a book or something. lol. Very nice craftsmanship!  :2vrolijk_21:

The foam used in the construction is .5" high density foam. It is the same that we used in the floor of the big boats salon floor to keep the twin Cats noise out of the salon.

I rode in the trailer and it is surprisingly quiet. More noise from the floor .75" plywood than from the sides or the windows :2vrolijk_21:

A/C is on the way :apple:

when I cut the top.....this winters project....she will get A/C

Installing a bulkhead where the trailer starts its round in the nose. this will become a cooler....the foam along with being quiet is also a great insulator. I am going to install some coiled copper tubing with holes in the inner compartment with a collection box in the front. Install a clam shell vent so the air will enter the box....travel through the ice cooled tubing and she will have A/C :apple: and I will have a built in cooler :jalapeno:

I definitely want to see pics of that  :2vrolijk_21: Another thing I installed in our trailer and bike is one of those battery operated indoor/outdoor wireless thermometers from Home Depot. Nice to know the inside temps during hauls through traffic etc. on warmer days. Someone even makes a wireless camera and screen for motorcycles to keep an eye on things but I had to draw the line somewhere.  ;D  Our Aussie Ruthie, has been over 20K in her trailer and the biggist problem we've had is getting away from curious people and crowds when we stop.
Not being as crafty as you, our A/C consists of a prefabed cooler of ice with a lid with an electrical fan on one side and an hole on the other. The "A/C" worked well in traffic and at stops but while traveling with the windows and vents open did very little. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your fabrications and hearing how everything works for you.

I do like the thermometer idea

we made a A/C with a cooler like you were describing to use in our pop up camper. We used frozen 2 liter bottles and wrapped them in news paper t keep them frozen longer. Used a little solar panel to keep a lawn tractor battery charged. Works fine but can not keep drinks in it. I hope by just allowing the air to circulate through the copper tubing it will work....but it is going to take alot of tubing......might try an old car radiator or heater core :nixweiss:

How about using parts from an old still?  ;D Yea, a couple of heater cores or transmission coolers could do the trick. Hadn't thought about the solar panel idea. I used one of those rechargeable car battery jumpers for a while until I hard wired it.  It had handy cords and ports for charging phones, etc., and small jump starting cables. Heavy though.
