Hey Cowboy2,

I guess I didn't word it right! I have $45,000 in BIG RED, & I have put 3600 miles on her. She is a great Scoot.  I just finished installing  a Fulsac headpipe & 2" baffles & K&N air filter on last week. It made a big difference in the way she runs. I had a race tuner installed  & Dyno before I picked up BIG RED. 83.53 hp @ 102.18 tq.  After the header , baffles, & air filter, NOW,  87.65 hp. & 107.40 tq.

I hope they replace the seat without a hassle.

You should be getting excited about BIG BLUE. Your delivery date should be getting close. Maybe a week?

Keep us posted on BIG BLUE!

Danner, just me and the way I read it I think... As to getting Big Blue soon?  I wish it was so... On the water now, then compliancing, Australian indicators, speedo, a few other things, I will be chaffing at the bit like an impatient Quarter Horse in the lineup, until at least mid July...   :nixweiss:  Truth is I am lucky to get it at all, the local  HD Dealer says 6 month delay for us due to parts in Japan with the sunami...

At least it will get a cool break in (DEAD of winter here in July, and I will be riding in about 40 F weather).. heh he...

Just crank the heated grips all the way up, put the heated seat on high, get your leathers on...you'll be good to go if it's sunny.    The wait is murder...I had to wait 3+ months on my '06 SEUC.  Sounds like you'll have the only Blue in the land of Oz   :2vrolijk_21:

Dealer took pics today and going to send them in. He said it shouldn't be a problem getting the seat replaced as they have seen this before on a few bikes.

I just got a message from my local HD dealer. The service manager said he has my new seat on order. They are going to replace it no matter what the MOCO says. This is the way all dealers should take care of their customers. It's the service after the sale that really counts.  :mango:

My dealer said this would be a 1 time "Good Will" replacement. I haven't really discussed this with them BUT the warranty explaination in the owners manual said 24 month replacement for normal use to be defective in factory materials or workmanship. So what does the 24 month warranty cover? Does anyone have an actual paper work on what it covers? All Ican find is what is in my owners manual & my extended warranty brochure.

Dealer called today and said my seat was in. Will stop by tomorrow to get it put on. They said parts and labor completely covered by warranty and will be no charge.  :pepper:

My 2011.5 big blue ultra cvo has only 1800 miles and the stitching on front seat shows white and is pulling away. I'll be taking it in soon for this.

Hmmm didn't notice an issue during the 3,800 miles I put on mine but then it was pretty much all in one shot. I didn't realize there were certain items that only the 2 yr warranty would cover and I could very well go beyond the 2 yr mark before the seat starts to have problems. Doubt they'll swap it out because it's uncomfortable. :^)

Hmm might be something to help those of us working overseas but more than likely those on active duty. Gonna give it a shot though.

Seat it self is great  But the heat stayed on all the time when i was ridding,
I didn't notice this but they found it on the 1000 mile checkup
two weeks later i had a new seat. this one fills like it has more padding
and if found after i move the back seat back one hole. this is a very nice saddle :)

Hey Harley Guy 5 - what do you mean by "move the back seat back one hole"?  I thought you couldn't move the '11 CVO Ultra?

Not speaking for him, but the seat itself cannot be moved back.  I think he is referring to the backrest position...if you pull the seat off, you can move the backrest bracket into any one of four holes to position it to a more comfortable spot.  The difference in comfort can be significant.

So this special tour pak relocation bracket by Anderson isn't needed? If it's not needed then my dealership was trying to steer me in the wrong direction. I asked them to relocate the tour pak thinking that there were extra holes and I think they just blew me off. Sure would have made our travels a bit more comfortable. I hate being blind so I just ordered the full service manual, SEUC update, electronics manual and parts manual. Not cheap but I like to have all the info I can get my hands on. Got a pretty good discount from Zanotti's.
