I believe the 'wobble' that shows up on the Road Glides happens during deacceleration around 40-50 mph with the hands off the bars.  At least that's the most common description I've seen in the various forums.  I've not seen anyone complaining about a high speed wobble on the Road Glide.

You just have to spend a bit more reading on here.  Since 09 the large majority have been Road Glides and doesn't have anything to do with hands on or off the bars.  Has to do with the neck bearings not being seated correctly at the factory.  After a bit of riding, they drop down in place and then there's a lot of slop in the front end that causes it.

Puzzling is that it's predominaently the Road Glides and with the exception of very few, not the batwing fairing bikes (which there are a lot more of)..... :nixweiss:  Also puzzling.....why a Road Glide owner can take his bike to one, two  or three dealerships to have the fall away test done and they all tell him it's within specs and then you take it to one more dealership and they say "oh yea, it was out of spec, we corrected it and no more wobble". :nixweiss:

There was a service bulletin out about the steering head bearing adjustment on the 09 rg. They tightened up the swing pattern from three swings to one swing.I brought the bulletin in to the dealer and they did the adjustment. No more wobble.

Nice!  Really glad to hear that. Sure would be nice if these bikes were "set up" properly before they left the factory or at least checked by the the stealer.  I'm happy to hear your wobble is corrected.  :2vrolijk_21:

Might want to scan it and post it here to help others with the road glides.
