I use the Lyndall "Z" plus and they seem to stop well,

less dust, do not squeal as much and have not torn up any rotors.

works for me!

Stay away from racing pads.  Unless you plan on racing that 1000 pound monster, that is.

For most folks riding normally, the Z compound is the best compromise.  Better stopping power and feel than stock, but still very quiet and rotor friendly.  As you progress to more aggressive compounds, you increase noise levels and rotor wear but won't necessarily see much difference in brake performance under normal riding conditions.  If in doubt about what you should use for your particular riding style, give the guys at Lyndall a call.

The 2010 will fit the FLTRUSE 2011?

Yes.  Various aftermarket catalogs don't get updated very quickly, but there was no change from 2010 to 2011.

Lyndall Z pads. Better feel, better wear, no dust on wheels.   The only way to stop. :2vrolijk_21:

When buying after market pads where do you get the brake pins and high temp moly44 grease to lub them.  The MoCo provides these with the pads, and from the 2 dealers I've gone to, say you can not get the pins or grease separately.
Is this right, or are they blowing smoke?

Last time I checked, moly brake grease could be purchased from many thousands of outlets other than a Harley dealer.  There is nothing magic about Harley's stuff.

And once again, a Harley dealer blowing smoke up a customer's butt.  Hard to believe, isn't it?

Front and rears are the same part number?

Is there a cheaper/better place on the web to order and have them shipped, or is it best just to order from the Lyndall website?

I just had my brakes replaced while I was in for the 20,00 mile service and they were $54.95 (41852-08A) and $49.95 (41854-08) per set. I thought they were real expensive until I looked at Lyndall's price of $49.00 plus shipping.

Am I missing something here ?

The links that mattm provided shows them at just under $40, even at $50 its better in my oppinion so I can avoid having to pay Harley for their inferior products anymore.

If you're not already using them, you're gonna love how much better they stop and almost no brake dust.  ;)  spyder
