Nice job. You got around quite well for not having your MC available.

No wonder the babe pics have been so lean lately.

You still in San Francisco Jock? If so you need to head over to the Toranado to sample some of California's best beers.

547 Haight Street
San Francisco, CA 94117

I have a beer snob buddy of mine that loves that bar.

Captain’s Log | 06.09.2011

As I look out of my hotel window it is time to take on another day and this one will be filled with some traditional San Francisco flavor…

Well the morning started off with a little trouble requiring the SFPD to get involved…a self confessed homeless young man v. a tourist…

Well you saw ChinaTown…now meet JapanTown

I suppose this is a Japanese laundromat…

One of the merchants having to paint over some local art

There sure are a lot of hearts in San Francisco being left behind…

A church with the shape of the Pope’s headdress…

The famous Filmore…

Some beautiful Victorian homes…

A row of some nice ones…

With all of the property taxes they earn from these homes they can afford the actual gold laced  dome on City Hall…

A private classic car museum…

While not in the museum check this out…

Speaking of private…a private club with less than 700 members…invitation to become one only…

Now the Masons…

Where the presidents stay…$6,500/night…

Could Superman leap this building?

Grace Cathedral

Say what?

More of your tax dollars at work for the sake of the arts…

  • Are You Valley Experienced?

You have heard of Wild Hogs…Meet Wild Dog…

A cruise ship arrived in town which caused me not to get over to Alcatraz

A different type of ferry entrance…HA!

Zoltar “predicked” a merry event for the Tahoe GTG…

Preaching the gospel at the top of his lungs…

Michael Jackson meets James Baker…Billie Jean is not his lover but Billy out of his Jeans is…

Question:  How many city workers does it take to lay a few bricks?

The line for the cable car and the turn around…

This city is always watching you…

  • Are You Valley Experienced?

Let’s take a trip to an area that San Francisco is known for the Castro District…alternative life style area…

Here we are…

Yep…that is what you get…

Perhaps the Fresh Meat Festival is more to your likin’

Do I even need to add any commentary?  One link or two?

The Twin Peaks…

In reference to climbing peaks there are a number of street performers that attempt to achieve peak performace for their wallet…

I am thinking she could be fun in a number of ways…

There is something to be said for balance in life…

Hard to believe you make money at this effort…wasn’t it the Duncan Yo-Yo man that taught me this one?

Regarding street performers they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors…

Speaking of balance…

Don’t “rock”et the boat baby…

Did I hear you say boat?  Well when you get on a boat and fish you must clean them…or at least pay someone else to perform it for you…

I could agree with that policy depending upon the person wearing it…after all one size does not fit all in this department…

Remember that comment regarding the wait time…

Hyde Street Pier…

Did I mention that there were Polar Bears here?

Yeah right…wind, incline, street conditions, out of shape…I am thinking there are other ways to blaze “your saddle” in this town…

Some of the best chowder you will eat is here…

I will be spending the remainder of my time here sampling the varieties available…

Jock, I've been to SF to many times to count, lived there twice and I think you've seen and done more in three days than I have to date.  Knowing the traffic situation of that city, I just don't understand how you're getting from one side of the city to the other so fast and still have time to see and do all of this.

Don't forget Haight & Asbury.....it was the place to be in 68 & 69 if you believe in "free love"......faded memories.  Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.....  Oh yea, and Golden Gate Park....the free concerts.....Janis Joplin, Big Brother & The Holding Company.....Cream.....Hendrix......and I believe you passed the Altamont Motor Speedway on your way over the hill.....where the Rolling Stones had their free concert in the 70s.

See you later this afternoon.  Some incredable views of the city and the entire bay area from atop Twin Peaks.  Maybe we'll take a ride up there this afternoon.
