Jock, do Spyder a favor and run up to Haight Ashbury and get a pic with some of those run away flower child girls for him. 

It's changed a bit Spyder, not quite as loose but still a lot of freaks there......and still a bunch of those cute girls.

With the sun shining, its hard to think of a prettier city..I still get boudin bread sent to me every now and then...many days getting out of the heat of the valley, go to town, rack of bud tall cans , loaf of boudin and a few dungeness crabs to chomp on..

Captain’s Log | 06.10.2011

After two days on “Fantasy Island”  it was time for me to catch “da plane” or in this case da train and head towards Metal Dragon to review the work that had been performed.  Upon arrival it was clear to me that this was not “Is that all you got” bike it once was and to think that it was going to be tuned today.




While at the shop we were given a surprise visit from Ernie.





I must say that I am really pleased with the work performed by Metal Dragon of Haywood, CA and Jim’s staff.  The results spoke for themselves when I took it out for a test ride and before I knew it the front wheel came of the ground!!!  A think a few people heard my yell of joy…Thanks Jim!

After the tune we went and enjoyed a local favorite at the Casper Hot Dog Stand and returned back to the shop.





A little later we would be joined by a number of other members.











Before I knew it we had a parking lot of bikes…

All of these folks came over to ride and enjoy a meal down the road…










Another great day surrounded by so many good people…truly blessed.

Captain’s Log | 06.11.2011

It was time to leave Haywood, CA and head towards wine country.  It was sad that I had to leave my new friends in San Francisco “butt” my time had “come”.






Down the road we hooked up with Jeff and began the journey…what do ya think of that paint job?







But not before a “pit stop” at the Cherry Stand…







Just seeing all of these grapes I am getting drunk already.
