An unprecedented 7 years the CVO line has used the 110 engine. No other CVO engine has remained in the CVO line this long in the history of the CVO motorcycles.
Is the 110 engine that durable, reliable, scalable, and bullet proof that Harley brass feel there's no need to introduce another motor in their premium Motorcycle brand?
Will the 110 engine in the 2007 - 2012 (and counting) Harley CVO premium motorcycles become the motorcycle every other CVO will be judged against? Or, is Harley brass dedicated to keep using the same 110 engine and make annual refinements to it until it becomes as durable, reliable, scalable, and bullet proof of a platform that was originally intended?
Will the 2013 110 engine have welded cranks, trued and timken bearing?
One would need a crystal ball in the board room at Harley Davidson to determine if any major changes will happen with the 110 engine in the near future
