Wanted to address the XM part....Mine went out the first time I took my bike out for my first trip.  I got the dealer to replace the XM module and so far so good.  I did have to cal XM radio to change over the serial number and within a few hours, the new module was up and working.  I have washed my bike a few times with water and no problem with the display.  My only problem is that when I turn the bike off (radion on XM), and then turn the bike on again, the radio comes on, on the Aux position.  Has anybody else noticed this?  Small issue but think it should come on to the mode it was turned off in??? Got my new radio today.  I guess it's working so far.  I'm going to tape over it whenever I wash it from now on.  I never spray water on it anyway, but I they appear to be extremely fragile.  If this one goes out, I'll be sure and post it.   8-)Steve

hh-
Mine always starts in the "position" it was left in.  I've never had it change unless I changed it.  Something's not right.

Had my Haze in for 5K service and loss of radio display. Figured they'd have to swap out the radio after Bubba's sun drying trick didn't work. Got the bike back the next day and Svc Mgr said "yeah we had to get a new radio". I said "whatcha do -- go to Kmart ??". He smiled as he beckoned me to the door to the service area and said "See that EG over there, the one with the big hole in the dash". So I'm back in business again. Also did the ign lock recall and replaced the fuel door for a bad latch. Never a word about seein a recall letter from MoCo (which I haven't gotten yet). I've always been pleased with the service, but this time even moreso. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Can't replace great service.

My display went out on the ride to CC and was back on the next day.  No idea other than heat why.  I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

I got my recall letter yesterday and the bike goes in on Tuesday for an oil change and some accessory installs.  Figured I'd dump the Syn3, it worked terribly in CC.  Trans sounded like a handful of bolts were tossed into it when it got hot, lots of bearing noise.

KXL,
That's outstanding service. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] More dealers should follow that lead. BTW who/where are they? Those are the places you want to visit or know of when you are on the road.
