Boy, JC, you outdid even yourself on the pics of this one.  I, also, think the paint  is outstanding.  Love the pin-stripes and the flames are very tasty.  Agree on the wheel, except the rotors continue to be lacking in the polish/chroming area, as always in addition to the calipers.  All those speakers are great if you're just gonna use it as a barhopper to impress at the stops, but not very practical for a rider to give up that much storage space.  That lil lighted CVO emblem is 'trick' and we'll all want one of those.  :2vrolijk_21: har.  spyder

That is one hot machine.
Black in the shade and brown in the sun light, the MOCO got this color right on.

What's the word on those rear speakers in the rain with them pointing directly up. I mean they're mounted all but horizontal as compared to all of the fairing speakings being on a slope (as well as tucked in under the windshield) I know they make water-resistant speakers as we have them in the boat but they're inside a fairly water-tight enclosure and mounted vertically. Anybody asking about this ? What does the MoCo say ? I ask because they look like an easy retro-fit (paper pattern, zip took, mount)

Thanks for your efforts JC... Very good pics as always.

I too am wondering how hot that left saddlebag will become on a hot day?

The amp doesn't appear to take up too much room being at the back and bottom where the bag is extended anyway, so comparing to a saddlebag off of a SEUC, it should be close to the same available space, other than the top end where the speaker sits in the lid.
Would you say that is a fair comment?

Thanks again, and I must say - Terrie looks extremely comfortable on that sweet looking ride!  :2vrolijk_21:

PS
Even though it's been what four years ? I still can't get used to the metric look of the 6 gallon gas tank. My RG gets 43mpg with a built up crossed flags 103 motor so I can go 200miles on a tank of gas. I don't get why they changed it.How many riders need to go 250 miles without stopping ? It's my only complaint really since they made the 300 something changes back in 09. JMHO but I think the old 5 gallon tanks looked a lot cleaner and the lines flowed with the rest of the bike better.

Agree 100%.  But, then again, I'm not into that extremely wide rear fender/tire deal either.  :-X spyder

Wow!   Stunning paint job.  Still wish they came with the painted frame in the touring line.   Thanks for the pictures JCZ

Well, kind of.  Having well over 30k miles on my 2010 SESG.....I've managed to use up what little extra space is in the bottom of the saddle bags and still have to force the lids closed, when we're touring.  I like to have all the creature comforts that I can possibly fit in.

The amp doesn't sit down in the recessed area of the streatched bag but rather it sits cross ways, on top of the bottom.   Then there's a couple of very stiff cables in there as well, taking up just a bit more space.   Here's another pic of the amp.....

I'm thinking a speaker enclosure over the rear of that saddlebag spkr. would be a good idea just to protect the speaker cone from 'stuff' in the bag puncturing it.  Might be a radio shack run of the 1st order.  ;) spyder

I thought all CVO touring models came with saddlebag liners.  But I guess it is only the SEUC's.

I now see what you mean JC... It appears that the amp in the bag along with the speaker will deplete your storage space a little, but then and again a matching chopped TP would fix that!  Besides, whatever Terrie can't fit, she can just give to you!!!   ;D

I was thinking the same thing.

Also with the 2011's having amp problems that "MIGHT" be heat related it will be intersting to see if the 2012's amps start cutting in and out. There is a lot of heat in them bags on a hot day.
