Good luck working a deal. The RG for me handles/corners better than a batwing.

Ah go ahead and make the leap! You won't regret the move, but if you don't , you will. It's like the old Harley commercial where the old man is on the porch with his grandchildren and they ask him if he had a Harley. He responds no he bought vinyl siding instead. He will always regret that decision.

Every time I get on my Road Glide I feel exactly the same way.  Then I got on the Electra Glide and it's best.   It's all so confusing....

Both great shades of red. I still can't get into the looks of the Shark although the 2011 Rio is the best looking one I've ever seen. They do ride good though.

I never liked the look of the shark, swore I would never own one.  That said after riding one, I have the 2009 CVO RG.  I now also have a deposit on the 2012 CVO RG, even though I love the sound system on the CVO SG and it can not be added to the CVO RG.  To me the RG just rides so much better and I do not fell claustrophobic.

Adding an aftermarket windshield that you like can make a big difference in the appearance IMO. Agree with all that have said this is really a great riding bike.

Come to the Dark Side, Luke...

Stopping by my local dealership today for a more serious conversation. The initial response yesterday was since H-D does not offer the CVO RG Ultra for 2012 that they are sticking by MSRP...for now.  :( We shall see.

Get 'em to knock off the "Dealer Prep" charges and freight, plus discount the ESP 20%, including Tire and Wheel.  Worth a shot...
