Uh-oohhhhh, two earthquakes in Nor Cal yesterday. One around Mammoth Lakes and another around Oakland. Must be the multiple fault zones thing that Gary was talkin about.

How many fault zones there are has little to do with the magnatude on the Ridhter scale of the quake. A 5.8 quake is just that, regardless of how many fault zones are around. By the way, the major fault zones (we don't count all the little ones because.......well, they just don't count

) run the full length of Calif. and even run off into the ocean and continue up along the west coast.
