The best approach if you just want to lower the seat height is a different seat. Much better to give up a little seat thickness versus giving up ground clearance and handling, IMHO.

I'd verify in some way that the SESG front end is not already lowered an inch, but even if it's not, the 19" wheel/fender combo could very well be the reason the lowering kit is not recommended. I guess you could verify that by measuring the distance from the middle of the front axle to some given point on the top end of the fork (like the cowbells), then comparing that measurement to a stock EG, or a SEUC with stock front end. The stock front suspension dives so much, hitting the top of the fender is a real possibility, and that would be a pisser. Plus, lowering the front end gives up 1" of suspension travel on a bike that already has limited travel to begin with. IMO, that is an undesirable thing. But, to each his or her own. If the purpose is to get your feet flatter on the ground when stopped or parking the bike, lowering the seat height for that situation can be accomplished in several other ways, like having the seat modded, buying another seat, or installing a fully adjustable air ride suspension on the rear end that can be lowered when needed, the latter being the more expensive option, for sure.
