What's the part number for the 2011 seat?  I cannot seem to find it on HD's website, must be another CVO only part.  Even though they show the rider's backrest for the 2011 CVO seat the actual seat is no where to be found. 

2011 seat is 54181-11. Zanotti's shows a price of $351.96. I assume that it is VIN restricted, but am not sure. If you need any other 2011 FLHXSE2 numbers just let me know ... I have the parts catalog.

Thanks mandm1.  I can now add that to list of mods for the 2012.  I like the idea of being able to have a solo seat when not taking a passenger, which is most of the time, but not at the expense of comfort or a rider backrest.  Clearly they blew that little detail on the 2012's.  But that is an easy fix.

Nice video... the lighting FINALLY shows the color accurately on a computer screen. I'm sure that one's long gone by now. I hope the engine was warmed up before he started revving it like that... worst thing you can do to a V-Twin is rev it up when it's still cold, before the aluminum parts expand and seal up well... that's a good way to blow out your base and head gaskets!

Georgia Hawg, that's one beautiful bike.  I shopped hard for one just like it....kept running into greedy dealers looking for $3-4K over MSRP.  So, here's what I "settled" for...somehow doesn't seem like much of a compromise.

The '12 CVO SG has the flames paint, and the 400w audio system with 8 speakers. They are HARD to get. I LUCKED into mine at H-D of Macon last Friday. Talked to them Friday morning and rode down there Friday late afternoon and bought it. Traded my wife's V-Star 1100 Classic... She knew I was doing it, BTW. This bike would not have been on the floor there a DAY. I was looking for a CVO RG Custom, which they had  just traded to another dealer. When they told me they had this bike, I told them I would buy it sight unseen, that day... and I DID. They quoted MSRP and that's what I paid. $250 doc fee... which is about half of the Atlanta rate. GREAT people there. We rode down there again today, and was told their next Hot Citrus is on order with a late Oct delivery date. My timing on this bike was WAY beyond silly-stupid... I couldn't get another one of these right now if my life depended on it...

BTW, my wife, who was riding my old FLHTP behind me today, told me this bike was just GLOWING in the sunshine... I think I'll keep ALL of them!

Glad to help. The passenger backrest pad is part number 54185-11. $101.64 at Zanotti's (WOW, that's high for a tiny backrest pad!!)

From looking at pictures, I'm guessing that the grab strap is different between the '11 and '12 models; not sure, though. The part number for the '11 strap is 51996-10, Zanotti price $37.62. The strap does include 2 decorative buckles, which otherwise are part number 51608-09.

BTW, the parts catalog does NOT show the seat or the passenger backrest as Restricted Sale Parts, like some painted items or engine parts.
