Has anyone seen the Crystal Citron/ Diamond dust bike? If so what do you think?

Still waiting.  Put deposit down in early July, told ship date was 8-26, was then told ship date this week.  No response today.  Will update WITH PICTURES when I see it, may be this weekend.

Being a Wi resident, The annual Milwaukee Rally in goin this weekend. The Mo Co kicks the weekend off with bike night at the HD museum. That said all the CVO's were there to preview. Looks Great!

Mr D, were the bikes inside or outside? Curious what it looks like in the sun. Saw pictures PHAZE took in Sturgus and the silver trim looked like it had more metal flake in it than the yellow. Can't wait to see one in person myself.

No one has seen one yet in person?  I, too, am interested in the yellow flake.  Patience, i know.

Obviously, very few of us love yellow, but those that do, understand.  Anyone, everyone, can drive black.  Thanks for the encouragement.

She finally came in, ran by and looked at it before they closed.  It was inside in the service bay, so lights not that great.  From what I could see, there is very little flake in the yellow, may show up more in sunlight, but i don't think so.  I was hopeful it would pop like the orange did. The two tone black has some flake to it, and the silver has a lot more.  I snapped a couple of pictures I will download tomorrow, not that good of pics.  Just went out and spent some time with my bike, 08 ultra, pearl white, started listing all I have done to her, and with her.  Been a great bike.  Think she knows I have or i am about to be unfaithful......

The 12 is a great bike, you will see a lot of improvements from the 8.

Everything you said X2!!! Mine came in today also, it was on the rack too. They did bring it into the sunlight and you really have to look for any flakes to shine at all. I just love the bike, everything about it except there is NO POP at all in the yellow. Love the tank badge and the graphics show nicely in the Damond dust. I wasn't expecting it to be as much flake as my nana but was rather disappointed in the yellow. Nice shade of yellow but no depth in the paint...for me! Seeing the pictures I had a feeling it would be like that but I was hopeful. Now if they reversed the metalflake that's in the silver and placed it in the yellow...I would be drooling to get her home. I tried to take pictures with my camera but the camera wouldn't work. The dealer took some nice pictures but they were compressed when he sent them to me so I am trying to see if I can enlarge to let others see. I noticed from the back saddle bag filler strips were bad off center and cocked. You could stick your had on one side of the bag and the other was almost touching it. Looked terrible, told them they need to do something about that.

I told them I will sleep and pray on it and be back in the morning. I love my 05 SEEG and it looks awesome, still get warm and fuzzy when I see it. Don't get that feeling with this one so as of right now I will probably pass on it. If it is meant to be I believe I can always pick one up down the road and maybe get it for a lot less than what I was looking at today. We will see what tomorrow brings.

I agree, I am looking at the improvements in the newer frame, larger motor, better brakes.  I plan to have this as my last bike, just think they could have done more with the color combo (my preference).  So now the decision is to spend 10k or 20k, limited vs cvo.  New ultra I could go diamond white and dress her up, but will probably stay with the Cvo.  Talked to them about headers, tuner, etc.  Another 3k. Could manage myself and save half, but like the idea that my warranty would stay intact for sure if they tune it.  I, too, will see what tomorrow brings, plan to meet the wife there and get her thoughts since she is the one pushing me to upgrade.  This is a great site, have learned a lot.

Mr D, I just didn't see any pop in the yellow. Maybe the sun wasn't out enough or maybe I'm just use to seeing our nana's. On my nana, depending on the direction of sunlight you can see green, red, orange, or yellow hue off the flakes. To me that's what I love about my paint on the 05 SEEG. The metal flake on the 12 is like the front fender on a 07 Jester. Can see a sparkle here and there when you look close. This is just my perspective and realize it may be just right for someone else...
