Did it.  Turning point came Wednesday evening, taking the ultra in for their appraisal, on interstate, on cruise @ 75mph.  Came up on rush hour traffic, both lanes, tapped the brake to come off cruise, didn't slow down, pulled clutch, engine revved, rolled throttle cruise came off.  Pulled off on exit and tried it @ 45mph, back brake didn't release cruise!  Some type of sensor I assume.  I knew my front tire was shot, so I was being careful.  So made my deal @ 4:30 this afternoon.  Bike less trade plus lowered shocks, header, rineharts, tuner and dyno.  Pick up Saturday.  Thanks JR for the counsel and we will talk some more.  Dealer kind of a dick on the mods, but gave me a small discount on them.  Msrp on the bike.  Pictures coming.

Gents, congrats on your new rides. I hear you on not letting the "wants" take over. I didn't figure that out earlier....the wants got me.  :jalapeno: I whine about it sometimes but these are some awesome sleds. Is it Summer 2012 yet? I need to ride.

Thanks Dave! I was able to put close to 100 miles on it today after signing away and having to get back before they closed. I already noticed the difference in frame, ABS, and handling and man does that thing have a FAT rear tire compared to my SEEG! :D :2vrolijk_21:

Congrats on the new ride.  You'll definitely appreciate all the changes since you bought your "nanner".  The extra gallon of fuel, the upgrades to the frame, swingarm, rear tire, etc.  I found the ride was a night and day difference between the older frame and new one.  You definitely won't regret getting the new SEUC.  Enjoy the ride, and now we know with you, the mods begin. :)

Thanks Buddy! :2vrolijk_21: I was able to get 100 miles in before I left it with them for some accessories installed while I'm out of town this week. I can say I was wowed! :huepfenlol2: Definite noticeable difference! I am a happy camper and pray for as many happy miles I had with my Nana!
