Hey Dayne,

No offense but what does that have to do with Pedro?

Is she trying to collect on your life insurance policy?  Does your wife have a death wish?  If so, then riding with you is away to fulfill it.

In Engalnd we would call this dude a TROLL.
He cann't be for real.
No one can be that stupid to ride a bike that he falls off of everytime he gets to  corner.
If you are real, Forget training. Sell the bike and give the proceeds to one of the Army Vet organisations in your home town.

Added later.
OK Pedro, my appologies for questioning your word. But you read back through your thread and you can see were my doubts crept in. I am on several forums and Trolling is a common issue. Take care and getthat offered instruction. It makes sense.

I am quite embrased to admit what my dealer found today when I brought the bike in. They brought it onto a techs raq and took a look at the mechanics of the motorcycle. Everything looked in tact. They looked at the tire pressures. Rear was good, front was 14 psi.  :o They servied up the air in the tire and the motor bike rides much better now. With a bit of luck the problem is solved and I will be turning in my lane and stay balanced.

For clarity, my wife is not riding two up on our vacation. She is taking the car and I am taking my bike. She wants nothing to do with the bike and won't get near it. I am not sure where everyone got the idea that she is riding with me.

Lastly, I am very real. My southern california brethren know this because they passed me on the 210 going west as I was going east to meet at angeles crest highway. We shared a wave. I may not be the most experienced motorcycle rider on here, but that does not give others the right to bash on me. Please stop, I am trying my best.

Have a peek in the Owner's Manual......there is some good info in there about pre-ride checks.  And they should have done more than just filled the tire up.....after 6 months of storage I've not had the a/p go down more than 4 psi.....somthing is wrong with that tire!

Pedro, that's an offer you can't refuse! Mark is a phenominal rider and instructor. Spend some time with him and this thread will have a happy ending.

In defense of some of some of the posters to this thread, most of us are passionate about riding and safety. The last thing we want to see is someone injured unnecessarily.

Pedro don't feel bad dude, my wife hates my bike too.

The 14 pounds of air in the tire is a big deal.  It shouldn't have lost that much pressure over a few months.  Make it a habit to check a few things before you ride, tire pressue is the first on the list.

By the way guys in here aren't dissing you, just breaking your balls a bit.  I've only been a member here for a couple months.  I have learned a lot from the members here.  They all want you to be safe so you may get some blunt advice.  Expect some ribbing and jokes.  Nothing personal.

Definitely stick around and get help here whenever you need it.

As far as going on a riding vacation while your wife drives.  If you've only been riding for 3 months, I am personally a bit uncomfortable with that idea safety-wise.  None of my business I know but I think you should get some more experience and training before you take on any long trips on the bike.

Pedro,

The low front tire pressure would make the bike very difficult to handle.  But that is only one of many simple maintenance issues the rider should know how to handle.  Absolutely take Mark up on his offer.  He is a professional instructor.  I have ridden 40 years and train twice / year with a law enforcement mc.  I would be happy to ride with you.
