I have posted a few comments on this site and have exchanged written dialogue with JC and he has asked that I introduce myself. I started riding mini bikes when I was ten yrs old. Actually I learned to ride the motorized version of a two wheel before I learned to ride a bicycle! I still carry a couple battle scar's from the muffler on my lower legs

Scar's I am proud of

My first Harley was a Softail Deluxe back in 2005. As much as I loved that mc, it just didn't love me. The handlebars were to far to reach ( tried pull backs but that seemed to change the center of gravity), didn't like the oil pan burning my right leg, so in 2009 I purchased my 2009 Street Glide. It was love from the first mile down the road

. I took GREAT care of her and she did me. That came to an end on June 18th, 2011. I was in 3 lanes of stopped traffic waiting to cross the Ohio River when this car that was 200 yards behind me failed to pay attention and he hit me square from behind going 65 mph. I was thrown in the air 20 ft and landed on the road. I was fortunate to have only fractured my back in 4 places but my true friend, my Street Glide was totaled. In the process of it skidding down the pavement it took out my riding partner and totaled her 2010 Ultra. My new ride, a 2012 CVO Street Glide that I ordered arrived 3 weeks ago. She sits in the garage with 20 miles on her waiting for me to finish the healing process so I can climb back on and feel that wind in my face again

. I owe my life to my old friend and I will never forget how she took that impact and basically saved my life. Now I live to ride again

. Thank you for reading! Judy
