So now my boom audio has gone mad. When bike is idle it works ok upto a certain volume then if I increase, it starts randomly to cut off sound on both sides of the speakers. When I start moving, it works left side then right then both then cuts off then back both on, randomly.

Its strange coz it coincided with the installation of heated grips. Worth mentioning us that heated grips have also stopped working. Probably a fuse. Not sure if both incidents are related or not.

Hey Rogzy, Did you have the heated grips installed at the dealer? If so you know you have to take it back to them. As for the cutting in and out......ish....take your pick could be tweeters, amp, speakers, head unit or maybe in your case a loose wire some place from when they installed the heater grips.......one question brother.....what the heck do you need heated grips in a country that never goes below +10.

Ok, I fixed the grips on my own and it did turn out to be a fuse. I didn't install it at dealer but it was a fuse and now it's working without problems. Tried them for 600 km and all is well.

So will send it to dealer to see about the boom audio.

As for why I need the grips, well we have seen 5 and 6 degrees Celsius this winter and man I tell you, we are tropical people and we ain't ready for that kind of temperatures. Such weather deterred me from riding for almost 2 months. Problem with cold here is that unlike Europe and the US, the cold really gets to your bones )

2012 cvo road glide whitegold 13000 miles purchased August 25th   2nd radio 2nd amp and now sits in the shop for so the can run the m1315 diagnostic bulletin.  Bottom line the system is junk and harley seems like they dont want to fix it. I have gone all the way to Milwaukee with the problem

I got one for you.  They dont give a chit manolis.  Go buy your own set up and do away with the ulcers.

You are so right my friend. Right now it is working fine but once it goes again (and I know it will) I will be up grading to an after market system.

2 500 KM so far this year and still working.....not bad milage for March and April.

Only today the geniuses at the dealer ordered a new head unit. They weren't able to test the amp or the speakers coz they don't know how to so lets wait and see

Ok here's one to add. Mine cut out yesterday for the first time. Build date 10/9/10. Wasn't cranking it or anything, it just took A short crap.

Came back on, was only off about 5-10 seconds.

Dealer did the test on mine Thursday and ordered a new amp, tweeter and speaker.

Oh, the build date is 2010, but I don't know the month.
