Montana, those are the same bars I'm looking at.  For the sake of my back, I need to raise the bars about 2 inches and pull back about 2 inches from the stock position.  Is that about the change the 10" Yaffes?  Also, why did you say you would have gone with the 8" bars?

I've been looking at the Roland Sands bars, too.  Anybody used Roland Sands bars?

I'd like to keep the fairing mounted mirrors on my SESG. How much different than those under bar mounted mirrors could that be. Just by eyeball, with a 12" bar, it looks like it'd be fine. And maybe a straighter shot at the speakers too without the bars or your hands in the way.

I may need to maybe pull them back a tad as its a little reach for the left arm, say in a slow right turn, other than that its fine. And for the other question, with those bars my foreams block the view for the stock mirrors, You can see fine if you take your hand off the bar but not  when your holding on. Does that make sense?

did not read through all the posts.  But I just picked up a Klock Werks Sweeper +2.   They also make Klock Werks 2 + 2".   Google and research it.   I did not want wide ass bars and these suit my needs.  And they cost $80.  I wish Wild 1s made these and with better quality.

You might not need new cables, but if you do, I'd contact Jim at Metal Dragon (hd-dude on this site) and he can fix you up with both the handlebars and anything else you might need to make the change.  When I put them on my '06 SEUC, the only thing I had to change out was the front brake line...just re-routed the clutch cable a bit inside the fariing, and the wiring was fine.

Jim is the man in the know, for sure.
