Kuryakyn PN # 3144 curved license plate frame is on back order until sometime in June any one know if there is one in stock somewhere PN # 3146 mounting backplate they have in stock just looking for some help thanks.

I got mine from Kuryakyn last week after being on back order for a month!

I went with a curved one that was actually for a Honda and it works and the only issue I have is there looks to be a bolt hole underneath the license plate. I have seen CVO emblems on some bikes but was told by dealer I can't order as it didn't come with my bike. I thought having a CVO VIN number would allow a person to order CVO only parts.Does anyone know if I can order that emblem? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2010 CVO SG. I took off stock licenseplate frame and light, am I the only one who has a painted bolt running through the fender connecting a brace for the saddlebags? I see all these different simple plate frames but none have the bolt. I'm trying to find either a Vin number off another CVO so I can get an emblem or go to the Kuryakin.I can add a pic tomorrow. Thanks All.

I have seen a lot of discussion regarding choices for curved license plate frames for the new CVO's.  The new Kuryakyn Curved License Plate Frame are now available and I have mounted one on my new 2012 SESG.  It is plug & play with LED lights for the plate which work great.  Simple to install and a nice clean look, IMO.

I ordered the Kury frame and plate today....it's amazing how many things I didn't realize I needed for my bike until I saw them on this site!

I got my Kuryakyn curved license plate frame delivered fro J&P a yesterday, the front part should be in tomorrow.  I was happy with it until after further inspecting the packaging I found a sticker that states "Made in CHN"    I think I will ship them both back to J&P, and put an order in with Yaffe.

so what it's made in CHN..whats the difference as long as it works and does what it is suppoesed to do,,,  Lots of things are mane in CHN,,,  i dont get that one   i bought and it works fine,,, so have many on here,,  read this thread,,

The one obvious difference that it makes is that it may be your neighbor (or maybe even YOU) that keeps working because you didn't buy that item that was made offshore!!

If I have a choice, I buy local!...then provincial...then Canada....then North American ......

Sometimes one has a choice...other times not.

The problem with products made in China:
1. They are generally made from practically slave labor, by workers making pennies a day.
2. they are usually made from inferior materials, and of lower quality than something made to order by American craftspersons
3. these shortcuts taken by Chinese manufacturers have made it next to impossible to find high quality goods made by skilled craftspersons
4. I want my money to go to American workers, not Chinese
5. I'm not putting Chinese made CRAP on my American made motorcycle

I go out of my way to avoid Chinese products, and it is very difficult, sometimes even impossible.  I was shopping for golf clubs yesterday and I couldn't find one, not one, that wasn't made in China!

Just called Bagger Nation.  Theirs is made overseas too!!!   Guess I'll keep the Kuryakyn, buy myself a mini-mill, and start making my own stuff!
I've included a pic of what can be made by hand, by an American craftsperson, myself!
