:)I should show you a picture of mine after this summer and all of the Highway Construction. I probably have a 2-3" x 1.5" Strip in the middle of the fin bank that are bend up. So far no leaks or over heating Issues.
- Then again now ridingin 30 - 40 degree ambient air temps.

That brought back memories of a trip that should never be forgotten. A few years ago dropped down out of Canada and went around part of Lake Champlain before picking a random spot and heading east to Ellsworth where I'd be staying for a couple days. On (I think this is right) US 2 hit construction. Except destruction rather than construction was more like it.
Entire road bed was gone. Just a bog. And it was rainy. Had to fall back a 1/4 mile behind the car in front just to see. Had about 25 miles like that. Had an hour or so of good road again before making a stop later. So some of the mess blew and rinsed off. But I looked like the Pillsbury Doughbiker with muck padding places where I didn't even know I had places.
Will always remember the look on the innkeeper's face that evening. Guy and his wife. They were thinking seriously about turning me away. Said I looked "a little too rough" for their place.
I like Maine; a lot
