Looks like there are several versions depending on the year of your bike.  I went to the Jagg web site.  http://www.jagg.com/

This one is for the '09 and later models:

The actual Jagg part number is FP2400.

There is a couple threads in other forums from 'try out users' stating it works and dont work,, more on the dont work side..   I tried the BiG Fan idea,, actually bought my own fans at 80% less, and that idea was worthless... The Jagg setup looks like they are using a pretty hefty fan designed to direct airflow more efficiently through the cooler. I like the idea, if it works,  but i'll sit on the fence for awhile and wait for more reports before i would consider    :nixweiss:

While the thermostat Fan is a good idea, I would be much more interested in and O/C that mounts much higher up. I consider the present HD O/C mount in the line of fire for road debris from the front wheel. I haven't found any screen to go over it to protect it yet.

Have always had the same thought.  In practice, however, it's proved not to be an issue.  They do get dirty so a blast from a hose or pressure washer occasionally is worthwhile.  I clean it out thoroughly and carefully as part of the spring mainenance each year.  But I've yet to see one punctured or even seriously damaged by road debris.  It's likely happened.  But it's a rarity.

:)I should show you a picture of mine after this summer and all of the Highway Construction. I probably have a 2-3" x 1.5" Strip in the middle of the fin bank that are bend up. So far no leaks or over heating Issues.
:)- Then again now ridingin 30 - 40 degree ambient air temps.

That brought back memories of a trip that should never be forgotten.  A few years ago dropped down out of Canada and went around part of Lake Champlain before picking a random spot and heading east to Ellsworth where I'd be staying for a couple days.  On (I think this is right) US 2 hit construction.  Except destruction rather than construction was more like it.

Entire road bed was gone.  Just a bog.  And it was rainy.  Had to fall back a 1/4 mile behind the car in front just to see.  Had about 25 miles like that.  Had an hour or so of good road again before making a stop later.  So some of the mess blew and rinsed off.  But I looked like the Pillsbury Doughbiker with muck padding places where I didn't even know I had places.

Will always remember the look on the innkeeper's face that evening.  Guy and his wife.  They were thinking seriously about turning me away.  Said I looked "a little too rough" for their place.

I like Maine; a lot :2vrolijk_21: .

I have had the HD units now for almost 7 years and never had a leak. I was worried at first about road debris punching a hole in it but it just does not get the frt wheel blast you would think it would. I take the three nuts off and clean it every oil change, but that is probably overkill as it is not  very dirty at all and probably once a year like twolane said would be good.

Probably not that specific piece.  But close variations of that cooler have been around the Harley world for a long time.  They usually come with a couple of clamps to hold the lower ends of the cooler to the frame downtubes.  Don't see those mentioned in the description for this one.  I wouldn't use it with just a top bolt mount.  Cheap price though.  Cheap enough have to wonder why it is so cheap actually....  :nixweiss:

I think you would be better off with the HD fan that goes in place of your OEM horn.  It's all about getting air circulating over the motor.

I saw a new version, I hadn't seen before, that has a cooler on each downtube and a thermostat control. Should have noted where I saw it.  :)Memory fades some days.
