I agree, rather than try it yourself call a pro. Not just anyone can do real paintless dent removal, it takes a real touch and a thorough understanding of how metal stretches and responds. Doing it the wrong way will guarantee a major repair or replacement to follow.
I spent more than a few years managing repair people in auto assembly plants, and over the years I had two guys who could work out dents that everyone else said were unrepairable without either breaking the paint or replacing the part. I used to get a kick out of bringing some of those same folks out and asking them to find the original dent after either of these guys got finished. No one ever did. But as I said, it takes real talent, almost like an artist, and doing it yourself isn't likely to result in a great outcome.
There should be listings locally for Paintless Dent Removal, Dent Doctors, etc. Check with some local auto dealerships on who they use and recommend.
