Hey Mike,
Everyone told me that I should go with the Power Duals, but my brother had them on his 2009 and I didn't like the look. Like you I preferred the look of the true dual.
I'm not sure what the 110 is out of the factory but I assume not so great numbers or HD would publish them all over the place. Here is my Dyno before and after proper tuning with the following parts; VH Dresser True Duals, SE Heavy Breather, Klock Werks Revolver 4", SEPST.
Before mods(Factory Spec) HP??? + TQ???
With Parts Mods but before dyno tune = 83.01HP + 100.33TQ
After tuning = 91.11HP + 111.31TQ
Over all a 10% increase for $190 bucks of labour with a Harley Tech who knows what he's doing on a Dyno.
Not only did TQincrease all the way up the RPM range but maxes at about between 3000 and 3500... Right where I want it! Not to mention it has VERY smooth roll on power and tq all the way to 4500.
Also the AFR being richened up and smoothed out cooled rear cylinder temp by 42 degrees to about 280 and dropped the front 31 to about 270.
Yes another set up may yeild better numbers, but I doubt I'd feel it in the seat of my pants plus I like the sound, the look and the driveaility of what I have.
Go with what you want and spend a couple hundred on a dyno with a good tuner and yer all set!
