Thanks Chip.  Seeing the hookups does a good job of showing exactly how it's doing what it's doing.  Trick little piece  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] .

The one here is Charcoal & Black with Red striping and yes there is quite a bit of drool all over it. That said its been on the floor for about 3 month's. Maybe its waitng for 'ol Carl Hubbard to come a callin'................... [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

You know 'ol Maudie's just one good smoking away from retirement.  ;)

Whomever ends up buying should get hold of Chip anyway.  He can let the new owner know what has to be done with the throttle body and other skinnies to make it stand up and start flying right too!

The Harley shop here has the new model the Firestorm.
It has the 120 Jim and I looked, the same 46 mm throttle body. :(
I'm just amazed Thunder mountain does that.

I sure could fill in the new TMCC bike owners in on a bunch of info.

Got the Frontier back today from the dyno tune.

But before I go there I have to say this.

Knowing that the Frontier had lots of potential I realized that I need to give Nancy's bike a little boost to keep her happy.

That increase was one of her Christmas presents. For those of you that know her also know that horsepower is right up there with diamonds in her book.

So the Lowrider was at 105 H/P and 107 T but with the right combination of goodies it is now at 126 H/P and 121 T. So now that Nancy has a few more ponies it was time for the Frontier.

In the never ending search for more horsepower I knew that the Frontier had a few hurdles it could never cross. One of those being a "B" motor which I'm told will rob about 3 to 5 horsepower. The second hurdle being the Jims RSD 6 speed tramsmission which sucks up another 3 horsepower. The final hurdle being the big one,,, the 280 rear tire. I have had numerous people in the know say that the 280 takes a lot of H/P to spin the dyno. I was told it sucks almost 10 H/P from the final reading. What all that means is that a comparable "A" motor, 5 speed with a 140 rear tire would show about 16 more horepower with the same upgrades. But it is what it is and below is the dyno sheet from today.  I have a few more upgrades to do but overall I'm happy with the end result.

F*N A Chip!!! That's an awesome run. It's a great looking curve too. I don't think you'll have much trouble getting that 280 spinning. Putting it to the ground and keeping it there might become your new problem. Good luck with it. Dynamite stuff! ;) Hoist! 8-)

Sweet sheet.  Love the curve.  With all that in so early who cares what you're "not seeing" on the dyno.  You'll still get it started quick enough to quickly catch up to what isn't reporting on paper.

So how long back together now?  And, most importantly, had a chance to ride it much and get a feel for it?  What do you like best and what feels like it might be left to do to make you even happier?
