Anyone know if the 2012 FLHTCUSE7 OEM seat pn#52000028A is a VIN protected part? If it is protected does that mean I have to have a 2012 VIN or would my 2009 CVO VIN number work. I have decided that for me I like the 2012 seat best for looks and comfort. I know lots of people like Mustang, Corbin, etc. thats not what I want to use. I have a post under buying but no answers to that yet. Thanks  
 

EDIT My bad, your right to many zero's, eyes are not as good as they used to be. Your also correct JR they did add "A". at the end.
Reason I asked is I called LSHD1 to get a price quote and they said they would need a 2012 VIN and maybe the old seat? Oh there price was pretty high also.  Thanks guys.

One too many zero in the part number. It doesn't say restricted in the parts book.

I have found that to be true on several sites. It shows up on Surdyke but not on LSDH1. I got the part number from my local HD, didn't like there price and didn't go further in the process.

So it's not restricted, but is on back order. Does B/O CLR BY 02/07/12 mean will be back in stock on that date Feb.7th? Thanks

It has something to do with how parts are shipped and returnable between the dealer and the MOCO

 Google the part number 52000028 and you will see cycle parts for less sells it for $1163 and free shipping. In Canada I had to pay 1425.00
