That would help pay for the Chain conversion Ken. :2vrolijk_21: You just have to promise not to leave me in the dust come May  :orange:

My new cup holder thanks to Rio. No more digging through the bags to find my drinks on stops.

Where did you get the drink holder and do you have stock handle bars?

Thanks, Lou

I bought the cup holder off of a member here, but its the Kuryakyn universal drink holder with the  clutch resevoir mount. Yes, the bars are stock for now. No clearance issues with it. Part # 1462 I believe.

Looks like you've got the mods going your way.  I ordered some of the HD tie down brackets.  Should be in next week.

saddlebag racks
« Reply #22 on: April 08, 2012, 04:20:13 PM »

I've never been one to head warning very well. So when I learned that the racks for saddlebag lids "dont fit" the '12 SESG, I had to do some looking around. A friend of mine had an extra set of after market racks that I was able to check for fit. Got them on in about 2 hours, which it should have taken that long. I'll be doing a little write up for the install in its own thread.

I swapped out the OEM backrest for the standard height in black. Left the decorative bracket on though. This will have to do until I can afford a tourpak.

I vote "no" on the Saddlbag rails....just doesn't look right to me with the speakers and takes away from the bikes sleek lines.

But its your ride so its your call.....

The racks/rails will look better when I can get some painting done. Work in progress I guess.

Well you just keep working on those mod's cause they look really nice :P. This is a perfect example why I love Harley's, everyone can customize their ride to fit their own like's and dislike's.  :soapbox:
