Looks awesome. I had to have the headlight visor ring. Makes them look a lot better imho. Love that color, probably the best so far in the SESG models and I love my Inferno!! gosh, led, passing lamps.......... it never ends, but I really like everything that we do to these thing. Good luck and congrats on the ride

Interested in what you've done since May...any new mods? Did you mention some low profile 2 pt or 4 pt mounts? TIA

I also picked up a H_D windsplitter (off the forum). Its taller and wider than the OEM screen, but clear unlike the description that H-D gives. I'm 6' 3", on a thicker seat and can now sit straight up without my head being kicked around. There is a little distortion where the recurve si towards the top, but the  shield is so transparent its hardly noticeable.

At 6'4" and sitting on a Corbin Classic Solo I've used the 8" dark tint (Windvest) on the last two bikes (04 SEEG and 10 SESG).  You're looking just over the top of the shield and not through it but thanks to the curve, you don't have the head buffeting.

In your picture, that looks to be the 6" that my wife was using (she's 5'7").

Hope this helps with the problem of looking through the curve. :2vrolijk_21:

There havent been any changes since May. I changed jobs, so $$ is tight.

About the windscreen, I can see over it just fine, I was simply making an observation for any one who was interested in that screen. I love my bike, the almost 12k miles on it have been great.

Back in December my wife got me a nice little shelf that sits in the top of a saddle bag. I liked that idea of more storage so much that I got a new lid tether with two pockets. They work out quite well as the shelf sits right above the amp and speaker input in the left bag, the the pockets on the tether dont interfere with the shelf, as I keep my phone charger in that pocket. I'm liking it pretty well so far, and am thinking of switch out the right lid tether with this dual pocket design. That would have a spot for the ipod, with an additional free pocket. Not sure if I will ever use the key holder, but I may come up with some use for that.

Well its official. Thanks to this forum and some ebay shopping I now have what I have dubbed an Ultra-SESG. I got the 4 point docking today, threw it on, and went for a ride with the Mrs. She approves. Not only does the TP look bitchin, I got more storage room, and my BSR finally feels comfortable enough to lean back and stop pressing forward on me. I nolonger have to ghetto rig enough stuff on here for a weekend camping trip.

Who makes the tether and shelf and where did you find them?

I opened up the fairing to troubleshoot my garage door opener, and got quite a bit else done. The opener had a bad connection (I installed it), found the cig lighter blew a fuse who knows when. Since I was messing with the wiring I moved the ABS wire back with the brake line. I never like how it stuck out in front.

I was talking to a buddy of mine a couple weeks ago, and we were bitching about how messy adding electrical accessories can be. He's got a Switchback with LED lights, DC plug etc. How nice it would be to have a box to tie it all in together, rather than stacking ring terminals on the battery. I found these power blokz  and showed him. He was so happy he bought he a set to use. The orange levers open up the connector for a stripped wire, comes with a 15 A in line fuse. I found they fit really well next to the brake proportioning box. I stuck them in a baggie so they dont get caked in dust under the side cover.
