Vyscera's SESG mods
« on: February 08, 2012, 10:43:20 PM »

This is an attempt to some what document the craziness that I am going to put my FLHXSE3 through. It is going to be a slow process, but I hope to be getting into some interesting territory soon. but thus far I've moved the passenger pegs up to highway pegs,
This evening I added a garage door opener and hidden antenna, which allowed me to clean up the back. Not only is the old antenna gone, but I took the backrest mounts off as well, to get about as clean a look as I think I can get.
Once I start adding black parts to the bike things should get really interesting. Plus ape hangers, exhaust, and tourpak, but we've already seen how well those look on this fine bike.

You need to resize your photos.....the right half of the photos are cut off.

My new cup holder thanks to Rio. No more digging through the bags to find my drinks on stops.

tie downs

Kuryakyn tie down brackets on the front forks. Makes the inevitable trailering much less worrisome. They hide really well behind the turn signals, but are easy to use.

the nearest harley shop is about 100 miles away, so if I have to leave it for work, I need my own ride back. No one wants to drive that bit.

Sticking to the cheap stuff for the moment. I've got a jeep that needs reviving. I picked up some right side black engine covers that will go on during the next oil change. Whether or not they stay on there I will put up pics for review. My craziness got quite a stir before.
GO CITURS! I dont get tired of looking at these colors.

So thanks to the fine members on this forum, my SESG is a bit comfy-er. I picked up a LePera daddy long legs Marverick seat. I've always like the mavericks, and didnt even know they came "stretched out".

I also picked up a H_D windsplitter (off the forum). Its taller and wider than the OEM screen, but clear unlike the description that H-D gives. I'm 6' 3", on a thicker seat and can now sit straight up without my head being kicked around. There is a little distortion where the recurve si towards the top, but the  shield is so transparent its hardly noticeable.

Lookin' good! The Le Pera seat is nice. it doesn't take much to beat the comforts - or lack thereof - of the useless stock seat.

I think I'm getting close to selling my stock seat and sissy bar... I will NEVER use it anyway... no real use in keeping it.
