That powder was done by a shop in Monks Corner SC
It was a 4 step process....clear over brandywine over silver over black...and he had to make each coat look like it was marbled. Cleans up beautiful. I call this my beater bike so it gets treated like a red headed step child

. Think I might have washed it twice since the rebuild over 2 years ago.
I just used the cylinder looking debur bit that came with the dremmel. The aluminum from the fins clogs the bit so I ended up buying a couple from Snap On that were for aluminum. I first practiced on a old set of black cylinders, actually the ones that were on the bike when it was wrecked. It had a couple of bent fins. I wasn't too worried about screwing them up. The only two things to worry about was spacing and depth of the cuts. I just overlapped them a little till I thought it looked good to me.
When I first started I used a sharpie to space the grinds, but found free hand much quicker and easier.
Just go to the HD shop and get a set of old cylinders and practice.....Good Luck

added....the bits were about half the diameter of a pencil eraser but the same height.
