Need your opinion on 2007 colors.

I have a deposit down on a 2007 FLHTCUSE2. All I have to do now is call the dealer with my color choice.
After viewing the photos today on the HD website of the 3 available colors, I am leaning toward the orange/black.
I know that photos can be very misleading because when I first saw the photo of the 2006 Flhtcuse I didn't care for the green/black. But after seeing all 3 colors in person of the 2006 Flhtcuse, the green/black was my favorite. It would be nice to wait and see all 3 colors in person of the 2007 bike before I plop down $34K+, but I know this isn't feasiable since my dealer only gets 3 or 4 FLHTCUSE2 models and I don't want to wait too long and possibly miss out. Any advice on color choice? I don't want to be sorry later with my pick of color.

Welcome to the site!  If I were you, I wouldn't let us sit here and tell you what color you should get.  I'd go with your heart.  Besides, it's gonna be tough to beat that black/orange combo, IMHO.  Looks very tastefully done from the photos on Harley's website. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I agree that the 2007 colors are not as 'exciting' as they could be.  I was hoping for 'orange and black' instead of 'black and orange', if you know what I mean.  The blue seems a little bright for my taste and it's hard to tell much about the light cherry from the pics.  

However, I called the dealer to settle on the black and orange and he says he's not sure he can even deliver.  He says that he is only expecting two bikes for the year, one in the fall and one in the spring, and I'm number 4 on the list.

Congrats on being able to get a bike!!!!

I hope you get a chance to see the colors in person before deciding because the pics can be deceiving.  The color schemes are very toned down compared to last year which to me is a bit boring, but in person I bet they'll all be nice.  All the problems experienced with the 06 paint jobs probably accounts for the simplicity of this years SE Ultra.  Who'd ever thunk they'd ditch the blond engines...a CVO tradition (happily) down the crapper.  Does anybody know the MSRP of the FLHTCUSE2?  PJ

Comments direct from the "eyeball" at the dealer show indicate that all the paint schemes (as well as the actual paint workmanship) is far improved over last year.  All the Ultra colors were reported as sharp with the Orange/Black being the most striking.  You really have to go with what appeals to you though after speaking with your dealer about the color sequencing.  If you need some help on the proposed dates for the colors, let me know in a couple of days.

Not a problem...my original mistake is changed.  Looking cross eyed at the price list I got about an hour ago.  I suspect that many dealers will be bumping it up though.

Viewing the 3 colors off the pics on website I am leaning towards Black Ice Electric Orange
but I could change my vote after I see a better pic or the scooter.

The Black 110" really excites me as does the 6 speed along with a few other goodies on the scoot

I have 1st dibs on any color at my local HD Dealer

not sure about these floorboards...though

Put my name on an Orange & Black one.  Deal says they only get 1 last year they got 3,  and so far they don't know what color.

I can't offer you a color choice as I have a winter project to get lined up (Stage I -110) and Six speed Trans and inner chrome primary cover should just about do it  :)
