porthole,
What options did you order? Looks like a window, small side door, what else??
Thanks!
The trailer is a Thule, 3000 series, which includes a lot of extra cost items over stock.
This is a low profile bike trailer. Which means it has drop axles for a lower entry height and only 5'4" of headroom inside, same as the Haulmark Low Pro.
So, my main change was I added 6" in height. Thule "threw in" "increasing the door height" to match the trailer, as this was the first one they did.
You could order the standard trailer with the 6'6" interior height, but then you get straight axles and a higher entry height.
And since the 12' model comes with a single axle and no brakes I upgraded to a dual axle, which includes brakes.

There are other minor things that I don't recall at the moment. It is better to install the roof vent while the trailer is being built, they box in the frame that way. The side window "porthole" is extra as well as is the 12" side door. I had the door placed to allow gassing up lawn mowers without having to pull them out. Also the side entry door comes with a camper style door latch, I added the bar latch for security. Battery for the lights was added too.
Things I done different; had the roof framed for an eventual AC unit and have the spare boxed in under the floor (recessed).
The trailer also came with recessed floor chocks ( and tie downs) like this:

The recessed are nice, convenient, but you almost need help with the lowered SEEG while strapping it down.
The Thule trailers are tight with dressers, although two full dressers will fit, I tried it. The interior width is 6'6".
I could have bought a bigger trailer, this trailer, 12' model with Vee nose was ordered because that was the size I wanted, lord knows it wasn't based on price, this trailer came out to $9200 delivered.
Not too big, not too small. So far I have had it loaded with as much as maybe 2500 pounds, it rides great and smooth.
I am planning on eventually having the bottom and 12-16" of the sides "Rhino Lined" but that is going to be over a grand, so that is on hold.
I have added a small 12 volt winch ($10 garage sale) in the Vee, a battery charger, inverter, shore power, 12V and 110v breakers, gas can racks and shelves. I will be running AC circuits from the inverter / shore power. I may add a rooftop AC and already have portable heaters. I plan on using this for a mobile office if needed for my part time gig, and I am thinking I might set it up to travel - camp a bit.
