And it's got the BikePro chock rather than the Condor that 103 has.  This one has been used quite a few times when buying bikes or hauling buddies home and chocks that work like either of those do really are handy.  Makes the whole thing a much much easier process.

Wasn't sure I had a pic with the trailer in it since it comes out of the shop so rarely.  But here is the fiberglass Excalibur trailer that I pull when needed.  Really light, aluminum floor, torsion spring for the suspension.  It's just a competent light duty trailer for one bike.
Uh Oh, I remember reading in another thread a friend of mines speaking on how I color coordinated my attire to my bike, and was giving me kudos for it. So I'd like to return the compliment as I've noticed this same friend has truck, and trailer to match his bike. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

LOL...I can relate to that.

I ordered a set of vinyl flames that match the ghost flames on my HD Super Duty.

So the trialer matches.

I used the one like 2ln has in a double version when I picked up my bike in Mobile...very easy pulling, easy to load...quality product.  I just rented, but could see owning one of those for those times when you want to go down for a beach trip, and need to take your coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc....kind of hard to fit that kind of stuff in the tourpak  ;), and it's a necessity for the beach.

That's been my impression too.  Have had this one for several years now.  It gets used to haul "stuff" far more than it does to haul bikes.  But it does both. With the fiberglass walls it's not a real heavy duty thing of course.  But it's light and pulls almost like it's not even there and it's super easy to work with for bike purposes.  Even this single bike version leaves enough room in the nose or on the floor on the sides to throw in a good amount of stuff along with a bike if one were so inclined.

porthole,

What options did you order? Looks like a window, small side door, what else??

Thanks!

The trailer is a Thule, 3000 series, which includes a lot of extra cost items over stock.

This is a low profile bike trailer. Which means it has drop axles for a lower entry height and only 5'4" of headroom inside, same as the Haulmark Low Pro.

So, my main change was I added 6" in height. Thule "threw in" "increasing the door height" to match the trailer, as this was the first one they did.

You could order the standard trailer with the 6'6" interior height, but then you get straight axles and a higher entry height.

And since the 12' model comes with a single axle and no brakes I upgraded to a dual axle, which includes brakes.

http://www.thuletrailers.com/motorcycle_trailers.asp

Also, had plywood walls instead of the white board (no strength), insulated the walls and ceiling, roof vent, spare tire located inside on the upper rear corner. There are other minor things that I don't recall at the moment. It is better to install the roof vent while the trailer is being built, they box in the frame that way. The side window "porthole" is extra as well as is the 12" side door. I had the door placed to allow gassing up lawn mowers without having to pull them out. Also the side entry door comes with a camper style door latch, I added the bar latch for security. Battery for the lights was added too.

Things I done different; had the roof framed for an eventual AC unit and have the spare boxed in under the floor (recessed).

The trailer also came with recessed floor chocks ( and tie downs) like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/24-Flip-Up-Motorcycle-Wheel-Chock-Recessed_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ50072QQihZ002QQitemZ4631978276

I had tried and cancel having them installed but was too late. My preference would have been to install the "Bike Pro" chocks like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BIKE-PRO-Motorcycle-Wheel-Chock-Black-Removable-Chocks_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ50072QQihZ019QQitemZ290009299768

I intend to add at least one of the Bike Pro chocks in the center of the trailer. The recessed are nice, convenient, but you almost need help with the lowered SEEG while strapping it down.

The Thule trailers are tight with dressers, although two full dressers will fit, I tried it. The interior width is 6'6".

I could have bought a bigger trailer, this trailer, 12' model with Vee nose was ordered because that was the size I wanted, lord knows it wasn't based on price, this trailer came out to $9200 delivered.

Not too big, not too small. So far I have had it loaded with as much as maybe 2500 pounds, it rides great and smooth.

I am planning on eventually having the bottom and 12-16" of the sides "Rhino Lined" but that is going to be over a grand, so that is on hold.

I have added a small 12 volt winch ($10 garage sale) in the Vee, a battery charger, inverter, shore power, 12V and 110v breakers, gas can racks and shelves. I will be running AC circuits from the inverter / shore power. I may add a rooftop AC and already have portable heaters. I plan on using this for a mobile office if needed for my part time gig, and I am thinking I might set it up to travel - camp a bit.

Porthole....WOW...you loaded that thing up with xtras!

I have a Thule, 8.5x14 with V-nose...I am still on the fence regarding the floor...but Herculiner has been on my mind...I also want to add the white aluminum to cover the plywood walls.  No insulation, loading lights and no fancy bright siding.

I also want the flames previously mentioned to match my truck!

It should hold my three bikes if I ever install the chocks!!!

14" Long even with a V-Nose.

3-Bikes???

I am setup for 4-Bikes in my 8'x20'.

But the 4th in the rear is tight from a length standpoint. I should measure from nose to tail two bikes. For a total length.

Im thinking of my 7'x14' I had...no way for 3-bikes. Even @ 1.5' wider with one backwards in the rear...All Im picturing it TIGHT!

14' plus more than 3' more to the nose puts one in the middle (non-dresser) two dressers in the rear...

Tight, but doable...the width helps because the front bike can overlap the rear bikes front tires.

BUT, I have yet to try it so it may only work with the Rebel up front!
