And you thought you couldn't sleep before this news. [smiley=zroflmao.gif] Make sure you dealer calls you so you can be there for the birthing of "Jester". Nothing like seeing it being uncrated and welcoming it into your world, and don't forget to take a camera so we can all share in the moment.

Thanks guys, Can't even start to explain how excited I am about it. I was undecided between the Blue or Black but when the black came in & I saw it, it was a done deal. It was actually the dealerships owners bike but he was extremly nice & said he would let me have it & just order another for him later. I think he was being simpathetic to the fact that I just had my 04 Ultra stolen last month. No matter, still way over the top by letting me have this one. Especially since they're an MSRP dealer. I'll try to post picts. asap.
GasRat,
Welcome to the site. We can all relate to your excitement and anticipation. That feeling is up there with some of the best things you can experience in life. Sounds like you have a wonderful dealer, and deserves your hard earned coins. Good luck and can't wait to see pictures of your new scooter.

I am pissed! Just spent a half hour describing all I went through today to buy my O/B SE Ultra. Probably two thousand words or more and it gets eaten up and disappears from my computer before I can post. Damn that hurts.

Bottom line. Happy New Owner and will post pics next week when my vin comes in and I can ride away from the dealer. BTW I paid MSRP.

Also.....don't be too quick criticizing the paint on the 07's. I was skeptical til I saw the O/B. Unbelievable paint! Wait til you see it in the sunlight.

I would love to show you the scooter in Maggie Valley but alas I travel on the Nextel Cup circuit and all my weekends are booked. It really is a drag when you want to ride with your friends on weekends but on the other hand if I get to ride during the week there are a lot less knuckleheads out on the road.

You will see one soon I am sure. In short, the it appears that the entire bike is shot in the heavy pearl/metalflake orange and then the black is laid on like a black/smoke candy coat. Very bizzare and very intriguing. Unreal in the sunlight.

As far as getting it at MSRP goes it took a lot of research and phone calls to nail this bike down. The bottom line is I got lucky by calling an MSRP dealer at the very moment he was uncrating the bike. I said sold and gave him my credit card number. Its about 9 hours from where I live but I now have the bike I want and paid what I wanted.

I do not have the vin yet as the C/O has not been received by the dealer.

I asked the dealer if he was going to have some pissed off regular customers and why didn't he have a waiting list for this bike. He said its company policy not to have waiting lists or take deposits. My timing was extremely fortuitous. He said all his customers had an equal shot at the bike and were wavering till they saw the color.

Happy Days are finally here. I picked the bike up this afternoon and took it for its first ride and have to admit I truly love it. I can't wait to break her in so I can really see what she can do, but so far it doesn't seem to be as snappy at low speeds as I thought the 110 would be, but to be honest it's straight out of the box & I'm trying to break her in right so give it a few hundred miles & then we'll see what she has to really offer. As far as looks, no pictures can really do it justice. In person the paint is extremly nice, much much nicer looking than any pictures I've seen. Over all so far I'm even happier than I expected to be with her which says alot!

OK, but that does not get you off the hook of posting some, especially since this officially makes you the first one here to take possession of an '07.
